The WORST EXPERIENCE. I preordered a game I’ve been waiting 4 years to come out. A month in advance so I could pick up the hard copy early and play with the early access. The guy looked up my old membership and started asking me for my address. I thought to update all my information. But NO. He was setting me up for an online order so he could hit his numbers without me knowing. So when we were done with paying he tells me the game will be shipped. Which is NOT what I wanted. I told him this and he said OOPS TOO LATE. It’s already done. Now the game is about to come out and I’m gonna get the game delivered after the release date. So all the extra money I spent for early access is in the trash. After talking to a manager apparently he lied because he wanted his bonus. They could have changed it right there but no. Read moreI'm sure it's just THIS location, but walking through the door, you don't feel welcomed to be there like with every other GameStop I've ever been to. The employees dont speak to you, and if they do, it's hit or miss whether they know anything about what they are selling or promoting. A little embarrassing to work at a video game store and not know the release dates of popular AAA titles are coming out. I stood in a line of 3 people for over 30 minutes just to buy a controller and meanwhile what "seemed" like the manager was having a personal conversation with a guy that sounded like he used to work there or they were just friends. Not sure. The whole thing was a little weird. Rather than assist a paying customer. The manager thinks it's a better idea to socialize while the line behind me continued to grow. This went on for around 20-30 minutes...Oh and fix the flow of the check out space for God's sake!!! I heard 3 people say where does the lines...
Read moreThis place is the WORST GameStop in Hollywood, the customer service at this place is ZERO, the staff is not friendly at all and it seems that respect to the customer is long forgotten; My kids picked 2 games from the racks, we walked to the counter and the "lady" at the counter not only did not acknowldge when both of my kids said "hello" but, she proceeded to loudly say " we dont have these games" ..and ignored the questions..we just walked out...I understand is the day after christmas and if you are not happy at your job, just dont come to work..and for the owners of this store.. check the people you are bringing to work at your store, the store is on dissaray and is seems they do not know what they have in stock and they ignore customers questions..when asked...
