Teriyaki Bento — Restaurant in Hollywood

I would love to give this place a good review, but unfortunately the food is consistently inconsistent. Some dishes come flavorful, some quite bland.

I previously had mostly positive experiences with them, but they recently reduced their menu options and reduced their prices, likely to compete with nearby options. The new menu graphics and choices themselves are great, but I've since observed dwindling quality.

Several times now I've also had dishes with chicken that was clearly old--you can taste it even through the seasonings. I was comped a dish for the trouble, but it keeps reoccurring.

Again, some dishes--especially the soups--are well above neighboring restaurants, but the lack of care on the freshness of the meat-based entrees will keep me from going here on a regular basis for now.

It's nonetheless convenient for me to try again in a while to judge changes in quality, but ultimately they are a toss up for now.

Amazing Customer service. Amazing Food. Amazing Price. We ordered the Volcano roll and the Tempura Shrimp Roll, we were both more than happy with our orders. The Tempura Shrimp rolls were nice and refreshing and the Volcano Roll was less spicy but still had a good amount of heat to them. We ordered an appetiser of Tempura Shrimp and we loved them so much we ordered 2 more! A perfect coating of crispy batter, the crunch was unbelievable. Food was ready in amount 10 minutes and everything was fresh and hot in the case of the shrimp. The cashier who attended us was amazing with explaining what is in each item and was very patient with us. She made us feel welcomed and at home. Will be coming back and recommending to others. FOOD IS SO GOOD WE’RE BACK FOR A SECOND TIME. We tried it for the first time yesterday and could not stop thinking about it. Especially the delicious Tempura Shrimp. We ordered 2 Tempura Shrimp, the Tempura Shrimp roll and decided to try the Green Dragon roll. Phenomenal food as always!!! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the cashier. The sweetest person ever, she remembered our ordered and we had a nice laugh. We live a good while away and The Driver was complaining about traffic the whole time but it was all worth it once we got our food.
