Really great vegetable cream cheese and delicious bagels. But, man the owner gives zero craps who she offends or how she talks to people. It’s her business, to run how she sees fit, and she clearly does. She was very rude to both a customer and her employee. Talking bad about her employee, how slow she is, etc to a customer. No chance I would work for someone like that. Basic common courtesy goes a long way. Customer asked if she’d scoop out the bagel. I don’t know what that means but she was very annoyed when she told him no in a rude tone, but he could do it himself.

Also, if you love Trump you will like the decor, if you don’t like him, you most certainly will not like it. The other employees were nice and helpful. When I walked in the door they all just stared at me at first, not in a welcoming way. It was odd. Again, great bagel and cream cheese, not so great service.

Based on what I saw while I was there, I can guarantee the owner doesn’t care about these reviews, but others might...

I've reviewed many places over time, rarely a negative review. That changes here. Stopped in to Bagel Cafe & there was a small line. I was wearing a mask, some other customers were & were not. But what disturbs me greatly are 2 things from the 2 women working the counter. Neither were wearing masks, but WORSE, neither were using gloves!! Even before Corona,, gloves are essential in handling food for customers. These 2 women were handling the bagels without gloves, then going to the register & taking money from customers & handing them back bills & coins in change. Then going RIGHT BACK to touching the next customer's bagel,. This is disgusting and utterly unhealthy. I turned around & left, never to go back. Considered for a while whether to write this review as I don't like giving a negative one, But in the end it needs to be seen by others that consider purchasing there, and maybe by the store personnel that certainly need to...

1st thing 1st this place was pretty dirty. The sitting area dirty and the bathroom was filthy. What I could see of the food prep area wasn't any better. But I continued to order. Ordered a couple of bagel sandwiches ( eggs ). Which brings me to the 2nd thing. I don't think the bagels are made onsite. If so I don't know where. The bagels didn't really taste like a bagel. They were more like just bread. 3rd thing is the eggs were probably microwaved. The texture was a little strange to me. I don't eat microwave eggs. I like real bagels which are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Eggs which are cracked and made fresh. 4th and because it's 4th does it make it any less important. The strawberries which were part of the meal had mold on it. Yes when I opened it up there was a moldy strawberry ( see pic ) ! The two bagels and two drinks cost $24. I took a couple of bites and had to throw...

My last visit was amazing; not this time. Whoever the older lady is working behind the counter, quite possibly the owner from the way she was acting, likes to criticize and minimizes her employees right in front of customers. Completely embarrassing for the people she is directing her poor behaviour too, it’s not a very welcoming behaviour. This woman was also very condescending to the male employee and taking to him like a child. This makes the atmosphere toxic and uncomfortable for customers. Maybe this lady should retire and go do something else like enjoy life and not complain about how she works every day to customers. You can find better in the area with better pricing, value and DEFINITELY better atmosphere.

Came into this place because Peaches was too busy, and I’m really glad I did! My sister got the bagel, and I got the Island Club. The menu had it listed as a sandwich that doesn’t give you “lunch meat” and boy did they deliver. This sandwich was stacked HIGH with thick cuts of real turkey, honey ham, and bacon, as well as a HEARTY helping of tomato and lettuce. DEFINITELY worth the money! I somehow managed to eat the whole thing, and I’m not sure how? Probably because it was DELISH! The service was great, and the prices were great for such a large portion! If I find myself on Anna Maria I will be sure to stop in here for a bite! Thanks again!
