Dollar Tree — Local services in Holmes Beach

Me and my family went to this dollar tree to get some items. Then when we needed to get checked out the cash register 2 was lit up but no one was there then a cashier named Sally was at register 1 and checking people out so we went to her. As she was checking us out she snapped at the people behind us saying “guys I’m not open see my light isn’t lit up angry sigh so I’m not open and not checking out” “go to register 2 she will be with you” then the other people went to register 2 and rang the bell and she yelled rudely “SHE WILL BE WITH YOU GUYS” Sally gave very poor customer service and was very rude. I wanted to say something but didn’t want to be rude. I was very upset on how she was treating us and others. Needs better customer service and treat their customers better. I'm visiting from Oklahoma and my wife's favorite place to go is Dollar Tree. We stop at them when we travel. She was really excited about visiting this one hoping to find something new since it's in Florida. I rarely give a low rating because I understand problems in business. But this store is in shambles and needs some serious attention. You can't hardly navigate around because product is all over the floor. This store is in a great location and has lots of potential but whoever owns and manages it should be very concerned. I lost my appetite to shop and decided to go get some coffee and sit outside. My wife decided to stay and navigate the mess. She found a few items and had a shopping story to share. I suggest you have low hopes and low expectations when visiting this store. Clerk spent 5 min in conversation with person checking out after he was checked out. Had to excuse myself to ask if we could move on. I had one item for $1.34. I gave her $5.34. So I would get 4 singles back. She started to explain why she had to give me change back because that’s how she entered the total. I said just give me a single and she starts that she has to count out $1 in change first and shows it to me to count before she would give me a single. Took 12 min to check out 1 item . Then she said as I left , “And don’t come back thinking I wouldn’t hear her. I did and then asked for her name and barks back I don’t have one. This was on 2/21 at 1.15. I would hope that someone would discuss with her(older woman with long gray hair) that she chose this job and if she is so unhappy working with the public , she should find another...
