If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, LongHorn Steakhouse in Homestead is truly a gem! I hadn’t visited in about a year, and I was thrilled to find that it still holds a special place in my heart as a top-notch steakhouse. Upon my return, I noticed the menu had been refreshed, which added a nice touch to my experience.
I had the pleasure of being served by a wonderful waiter named Saree (or Sherri—my apologies if I misspelled it!). She was incredibly attentive and made sure that my dining experience was nothing short of fantastic. The manager also took the time to greet us and check on our satisfaction, which I truly appreciated—it’s these personal touches that elevate a meal.
Now, let's talk about the food! Finding a restaurant that can cook a great steak can be a challenge, but LongHorn excels at it. You might think, “It’s a steakhouse; how hard can it be?” Well, I can assure you that their steaks are exceptional—far surpassing those at other popular chains like Texas Roadhouse. I ordered a medium-well ribeye, and it was absolutely a 10 out of 10! The flavors were rich and the cooking was perfect.
I also indulged in the lobster mac and cheese, which was utterly divine, and the mashed potatoes were just right—well-cooked and seasoned to perfection.
As for the cocktails, I did find that the drink I ordered was a bit lighter on the alcohol than I’d prefer. However, I didn’t mind too much, as I was really there to savor the delicious food.

Read moreThe restaurant was pretty empty, I asked for a table for 3, the hostess days it's a 15-20 minute wait, I felt this was strange since nobody else was waiting and I can clearly see lots of empty tables, I asked her about the wait time and the empty tables I see and I was told they were trying to keep spaces between people, I understood and said no problem, after my wait time, I was told my table is ready, we were seated in an area where everyone was super close to each other, so what the hostess originally told me was obviously not correct. Anyways, we sat, and sat, it took maybe 10 minutes of sitting there before someone came to our table to say hello, not sure what's happening here, but all the servers were just standing and talking behind a small counter near the back, curious if there was no management on schedule, tables were being cleared by waitresss, no bussers around so I assume maybe working with limited staff, I don't mind waiting, I can understand being short staffed, but I feel communication to clients would be a big help so we are not sitting around clueless as to why things are the way they are. The food was good, it came out in a timely manner once the order was taken, so the kitchen is doing their part. This is just an experience of what I had tonight and I normally go out to eat for a good meal and an experience, my experience was not a great one, only the food. Read moreOn 07/02/2021 at 11:43am I entered long horn steakhouse at 2531 North East 8th street Homestead Fl 33033 and was seated Immediately I was not waited on and no one ever came to ask me if I needed anything so I got up at 11:53 am and walked out upon me walking out I told the two host that was standing at the front entrance no one ever came to take my order they both looked at me and said oh we just got to work so I call proceeded to walk out one I got in my car I called into the Resturant and requested to speak to the manager the young lady that answered the phone asked me was there an issue and I explained everything to her so she placed me on hold for 6 minutes and then picked the phone back up and said give me a minute thinking she put the phone on hold and began to say to another worker there look at the camera to see how long she really waited before you get the manger then someone said the phone is not on hold at that time she quickly placed the phone on hold for another 5 minutes then the manger picked up and I explained the situation to him and I told him I’m very upset how I say treated and I will be contacting the corporate office .
