This was by far THE WORST McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had and I truly wish I had filmed it because it was that terrible. For starters, the drive thru took us nearly an hour (with our car not moving about 40 of those minutes and there were not THAT many cars in the line/the lobby was closed). Someone getting free food who got there after us also got their food instantly, which was irritating. That said, the absolute WORST part of this experience was the extreme rudeness of the woman taking orders (who was the one at the first window). Not only was she not turning her mic off when agitated that she was “supposed to leave” but she was taking out her frustration on us as we were ordering. Mind you, we knew exactly what we wanted and were quick and easy. She even got upset with us for using our code for a $6 deal on the mobile app and acted like we were stupid because it couldn’t be used for what we were ordering when that wasn’t the case and she figured out she was wrong. She was remarkably rude and truly should not be working with customers. I’ve worked in customer service for a decade and I understand what it’s like to have a rough day, but honestly words can’t describe how awful an interaction this was and it was well beyond just being “frustrated with her job.” I was disrespected for no reason, as we were nothing but nice, and can honestly say this has tainted my view of this location and I will never return. Treating customers terribly after they’ve waited an hour to order us mind boggling. Additionally, it’s a 24 hour location that’s trying to close at 9:30 and turning other customers away....
Read moreThe orders come out wrong, more often than not. That's complaint number 1. Secondly, where is the RESPECT!? Today I went through the drive-thru and the woman was screaming for me to take my order. Meanwhile I couldn't even pull up to the speaker,as there was multiple vehicles in front of me. After I ordered I proceeded to the 1st window and show the woman my phone,so she could scan the coupon. She got even more irritated than she was, while taking the order. She spoke to me with total disrespect and every single time she'd ask me a question,I'd get one word out and she'd yell at me. She kept calling me sweetie...sweetheart...and getting very snippy. First off show some respect...talk to me like a grown woman, regardless of the day you're having. I'm not a 18 year old..I'm a 40+year old woman. Don't talk down to me! I handed her my money..she didn't scan the coupon on my phone and I proceeded to window 2. Got my meal without further incident.
Just last week I stopped in the evening(6pm) and purchased a happy meal for my son. Inside was a woman screaming and carrying on,because the for her order wrong twice and her drink wrong 3 times. The employees just look at you like "you're the once who messed up". The worst of it all,was there was about 6 kids(from baseball)who were watching it all in disbelief. I could hear her and the one employee from the drive thru window.
I know the Water Front location went under new management late last year....well they desperately NEED to try again. The placer is going down hill quickly!!!! ...
Read moreThe employees are rude, screaming profanity at each other. Having overly loud, unprofessional conversations. The front counter was not clean. Ice cream and McFlurry machine looked like something exploded on them. The bathroom & customer tables were dirty as well. The whole restaurant looked like they had the busiest rush of their lives, but I couldn't even give them the benefit of the doubt as all this mess was during non peak hours. No attempt was made in rectifying the situation. Since it was slow, I guess phones and socializing were more necessary than keeping the store in proper order. My orders have been wrong numerous times. If they weren't wrong they were luke warm sometimes downright cold. If that wasn't bad enough also taking an average of 20 minutes to complete a small order. (You'd think I'd receive freshly cooked food waiting that long) I have been to the Waterfront locale a few times, hoping each time maybe it was just a bad shift. Nope... everytime it is the same. I do enjoy McDonald's but this location definitely tarnishes that enjoyment. If I'm really jonesing for McDonalds, I'll drive a few miles away to another location. This area is a prime business spot. If these employees were a little nicer and fulfilled their job requirements, there would be huge rise in (happy) customers therefore more money flowing in. Something so simple, who in their right mind wouldn't want that?! If your truly wanting McDonalds do yourself a favor and drive to the next one. That way you're still...
