Rogue BBQ — Restaurant in Homestead

First time visit to this new establishment. We were seated at a table that was recently bussed not wiped down. It's a BBQ place so it was a bit of an obvious mess we assumed our server would take care of. She did not so we cleaned it with paper towels. We ordered some beers and the sampler plate with some brisket nachos as well. Beer was cold but it took some time for the food to come. We finished our beers 1/4 of the way through the food but the waitress never returned so no more beer. The platter was a bit expensive but was not matched in quality. The wings were meh, the ribs were inedible. You couldn't remove the meat as it was extremely tough. The brisket had no smoke ring, it actually was just a grey color throughout and had no flavor. Cornbread was very dry with no butter. The pulled pork was the best but that's not saying much. I asked for a side of sauce as there is none provided at the table. I was charged for a thimble cup full. We had to ask for our check from another waitress because ours really didn't come back. I was hoping this place would be good since we frequently shop at the Waterfront. Not sure I'll return unless future ratings...

This as my first ever experience here! Was great service at first, but as the night progressed, the service got worse and people had to get their own utensils or boxes. We waited for our new sever to come get us more drinks. 2 servers on a Monday night you would think would be fine right? No, new server was only there second day and her and the older one were more worried about the customers at the bar then the ones out on the tables. We waited 20 mins for drinks. Oh and open mic night? Yea was terrible! No one laughed! One woman even told a semi racial joke and a table left after. No posting or anything about this event. These “comedians” cleaned out the establishment. And still the service sucked! Food? Oh that was good. Thanks to the cook tonight, but management needs to have standards and step...

Place was loud but lively. There was some other event happening at the time I went, so it was pretty packed. This might be a turn-off for some ppl, but I don't mind. The bartender was doing her best to keep up with the crowd. I ordered the rogue burger, which comes with some brisket on it as well. The brisket has good flavor and moist, but the burger was kind of bland and dry, I think it needs some type of aioli or something to liven it up and add some moisture for the burger patty. The fries it comes with aren't uniform in texture. They vary from nice and crispy to undercooked and soggy, although the added cheese on them was a nice touch to bring some much-needed flavor.
