Co-Sign Speakeasy — Restaurant in Homestead

What a creative place. If you are looking for a fun speakeasy, this is it. Minimal signage at what is clearly an old bank converted to an escape room and ax throwing establishment. There is minimal signage, but check in at the bar on the main floor. You will quietly and quickly be escorted up the private elevator to the top floor, where you will need to locate the hidden and secure door to the speakeasy. Once in, the ambience is great. The bartender on 7/29 was amazing. The place was 90% full. The bartender didn't stop a moment and was able to to keep up with demand with perfect execution. We tried several drinks straight from the menu, all of which we liked. The advertised special was great too. We watched as other guests mentioned the flavors they liked, then observed the bartender create them something unique on the spot. Based on their response, they too clearly were enjoying the drinks. I’ve now been here a few times and each visit has been met with nothing less than top notch service. A small group of us made reservations to celebrate my birthday and as always, everything was spectacular. Our bartender was informative and a great conversationalist. The cocktails here are always phenomenal and it’s fun to watch them be made. A few of us asked for the ‘Peddler’s Choice’ which is when the bartender will mix up a cocktail to your liking. I have not a clue what all was in mine, but it was delicious. There is no detail left behind right down to the beautiful garnishes. Oh what a fun place! To get in was an adventure in and of itself! I won't give away their secrets but just have your thinking cap on! The atmosphere was a vibe! It was like you stepped into the roaring 20's with the decor and the specialty drinks! If you are used to ordering vodka and cranberry or rum and coke, please don't do it here (although you can). Part of the experience is trying something different! I had a smoked old fashion and the art of watching it being created and the presentation alone was worth it!
