Godfather's Pizza — Restaurant in Homewood

Reading through the reviews, I noticed that so many people commented on the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. I would echo those sentiments. Our estimated pickup time was set to be a few minutes before they close. Of course, we hit massive construction traffic at the junction which slowed us down considerably. We called and told Eric what was going on, and he said they would wait for us, no worries. Once I got there, I was even more impressed with the friendliness of both Eric and the other worker who was still there. Now, about the pizza itself: Incredible. With the first bite, you are immediately struck by the fact that this is not your typical restaurant chain pizza. The ingredients are obviously of the best quality. The toppings cover it from end to end, and then some. I love the meat combo. Their pizza is extremely filling. I am someone who can easily eat 6 or more pieces of pizza at a time. With Godfather's, I am satisfied after two pieces. I ate the leftovers for lunch and dinner of the next day, and that was just from the one pizza. No other pizza has ever done that for me. I've never had Godfather's pizza 🍕 before, until week or two ago, a co worker told me we were having pizza today for staff and the workers laying the carpet, I said ok where from, for how many and do I need to contribute, she said Godfathers pizza, 14 people and if I'd like to, and that the pizza is delicious, that's how Godfather's pizza was discovered by me!!

And she was right!!!!?

She ordered, 3-4 various pizzas including a veggie with garlic parmesan, cheese bread and buttery like rolls!!! Everything was delicious!!!!

So I Stopped by there for the first time, last Saturday around noon with a couple people I think told about it to dine in, to my surprise the dining room was closed!!!!!!! Even outdoor seating!!!

This is temporary, dining room open on a few weekdays, not sure which ones, but you can go inside to order, phone in or drive thru!!

I had a small veggie,( similar to personal pan pizza 6 spices) no black olives, garlic parmesan instead of marinara,it was delicious!!!!

This was my first visit to any Godfather's Pizza. It's in a very convenient location, easily accessible from downtown or the Southern suburbs

It has plenty of parking.

I was greeted by a very friendly employee the moment I entered. Great looking hot bar with a variety of fresh pizza for those on limited lunch hours.

I ordered a calzone and it arrived steaming hot. I could hardly wait to dive in, it smelled fantastic. I drove five miles home and still had to wait few minutes before I could eat the calzone it was so hot.

The crust was excellent, fresh and yeasty with herbs and cheese on the outside. The inside was steamy with lots of meat!

The owners both came out to check on me at different times. They really care about their product and wanted to make absolutely sure I had a great first experience at Godfather's. I did and...
