immediately had to try their strawberry matcha float 🍓🍵🍌 I’m stoked they opened a new location that’s more convenient than driving to Waikiki! Banan is one of my favorite treats to get, especially after the beach. I liked the strawberry matcha latte but thought the matcha was a little too watery / not a strong enough taste for my personal preference. But their soft serve is always so so good 🍌

We visited Banan at Waikiki Beach after seeing it all over social media, especially the popular Pineapple Yacht. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. Everything tasted off—we couldn’t even finish it and went to trash. The banana soft serve, which is advertised as being made from fresh bananas, tasted like it was made from overly ripe or artificial banana flavoring. The honey had no real honey taste, and the fruits were bland and watery—the pineapple was strange, and the papaya and strawberry had no flavor. We were absolutely disappointed! Not just because we wasted the money, but in a place like Hawaii, known for its incredible fresh fruit, this was especially disappointing. To make matters worse, the staff wasn’t friendly or welcoming. If you're looking for a great-tasting tropical treat, this isn’t it. But if you're just looking to snap a trendy photo for social media, then maybe it’s worth a visit. Overall, a disappointing experience and not worth the hype or the price.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Best Dairy-Free, Vegan-Friendly Soft Serve in Hawaii! 🍌🍦🌺😊🧡

Banan is an absolute must-visit every time I’m in Waikiki! Their soft serve is truly one-of-a-kind—made entirely from bananas with no added sugar, no dairy, and completely vegan-friendly. Not only is it delicious, but it’s also guilt-free and packed with natural goodness.

What makes Banan even more special is their commitment to sustainability and supporting local farms. They source fresh, high-quality ingredients directly from Hawaii, ensuring every bite reflects the best the islands have to offer. Their mission is simple but powerful: Make the earth happy, make people happy, and serve righteous food. And they truly live by it!

The Mac Nut Honey Butter topping is an absolute game-changer—creamy, nutty, and the perfect complement to their already amazing flavors. If you’re not sure what to get, I highly recommend the Chunkadelic with the açaí and banana swirl as a base. Every flavor is banana-based, but each one is unique and pairs perfectly with their locally sourced toppings.

Banan is also a certified ocean-friendly restaurant through the Surfrider Ocean Friendly Restaurant Program, meaning they are officially recognized for their commitment to making sustainable choices that protect our oceans. You can dine with peace of mind, knowing that your choice supports an eco-conscious business.

Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but you’re paying for high-quality ingredients, incredible service, and a company with a mission that truly matters. Supporting Banan means supporting sustainability, local farms, and a business that cares about both people and the planet. Totally worth it—I never visit Hawaii without...

If you’re looking for a refreshing, healthy treat in Hawaii, Banan is a must-try. Their banana-based soft serve is the perfect balance of creamy and naturally sweet—made entirely from local bananas with no dairy, no added sugar, and tons of tropical flavor.

The menu offers creative bowl and cone options, with fun toppings like fresh fruit, granola, coconut flakes, honey, and even mac nut butter. Everything tastes fresh and feels good to eat. It’s like a guilt-free dessert that actually satisfies.

I tried the Acai Banana Bowl and it was loaded with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and homemade granola—super filling and totally Instagram-worthy. The staff was friendly , thank you Mattie for an amazing service , the line moved fast, and the vibes were pure Aloha.

Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Banan is a solid stop for a unique, healthy spin on ice...
