Bozie Jones Bar B Q — Restaurant in Honolulu

This guy really has it going on! We had the ribs and sampled his brisket. There are 2 things that make great BBQ....the sauce/ glaze and the quality of the meat. You will not be disappointed here ...both are fantastic. The sauce is tangy, not to sweet..not that over sweet molasses that others do. The brisket is madly smoked, has a crunchy crust with melt in your mouth center. Incredibly delicious and just goes to show that food truck food is king. The service is with a smile and fast...you can tell he loves what he is serving you. You won't find better value...

My family visited Honolulu for a week and we were craving ribs. We decided to search the internet and "Bozie Jones Bar B Q," popped up. I called to verify location and Ubered over. We were SO Thankful we did. We purchased a slab of ribs w/rice and baked beans... 😋 We couldn't wait to dig in, so we opted to eat at one of the tables, and the two of us ate an entire slab, well minus 2-3 bones. Omg, they were amazingly tendered and well-seasoned. We walked out on faith and I. So glad we did......

GPS led me to Kewalo Basin. This food truck is actually on Atkinson St at the traffic light across from Ala Moana Shopping Center. Enough room for one car to pull in unless you park at Ala Moana and walk over. This chicken was very smokey. Loved that. The beans tasted delicious. I was looking for a scoop of southern potato salad. This mans Tennessee BBQ sauce was delicious. Only $13 for my plate today. Would've paid more, was worth more. But thank...
