I am very disappointed with this local bike store because of terrible experience I had with them just right today afternoon on July 25 at around 5 PM. First of all, they couldn't keep up their promise; for example, I told a staff two days ago for putting a Giant folding bike on hold and did confirm with him twice for the price of $445.99 and when I went back today, another staff told me the price tag was wrong and he couldn't give me the price as they placed on the tag two days ago.
As a result, I was so mad not because of increased price but I felt like they are very dishonest about their business practice and I felt totally being cheated. Supposedly they should give the customer according to the price they listed on the tag and I meant it is not my fault at the beginning since I wasn't the one to ask them to put the wrong price tag. But they refused to do so and when I asked to see a manager. They told me that the manager was out and won't be back for a little while. I just left that place and will never return again since their business practice is not honest as other described they are. Thanks for reading and it is simply my personal experience with them this afternoon and I know there's nothing I can do about it since they don't really care about my business anyway. Have...
Read moreWe like to support local businesses as much as possible, but I will never be returning back to this store. We're currently in the market for a higher end bikes. The person that "helped" us in the bicycle department was neither friendly or knowledgeable. An older Asian gentleman on an early Sunday afternoon, was working the bicycle department. He was either too arrogant to answer basic questions about bikes, or simply didn't know much about bikes. We asked very basic questions such as, how to determine the size of bike to buy, what are the advantages and disadvantages of certain features, ect. Our questions were never answered effectively. This worker seemed annoyed that we wanted to know the disadvantages and advantages of different features. Please do yourself a favor, and take your business elsewhere. A great local business is The Bicycle Factory. We bought our skateboards there, and that was the first place we should have gone to. The staff working at the Bicycle Factory are knowledgeable, and are more than happy to answer any questions about their products. They will never act snotty, they will make their customers feel welcome, and are very friendly and appreciative of your business. Which is a lot more than I can say about our experience at...
