This is NOT an exaggeration and my husband and I are still in disbelief at Taco bell Beretania. Yall. Last night, we arrived with our puppy at the DT 1:15am and left at 3:10am. We didn't bring a leash, it was supposed to be a quick food run; so he was crying to use potty. Ordered #8 no sour crm and 2 pk of the desert things filled with cream. When we finally got to the window, waited +10 mins, a micronesian man came and said "your order... You pick up ?....no,cannot." While my husband said we had already ordered at the mic long ago. The man left, returned again and no real words came out of his mouth. I said "can you pls speak to us? We waited 2 hrs." A manager looking person (vest) came and said his system broke down and asked us what our order was 2 times, then disappeared. A Micronesian woman came to the window and asked if we were here for "order pickup." We were so confused, my husband who is very patient covered his face with one hand. This is when I lost it. I explained to her three times what our small order was, then she left. She returned with a bag, said "just take it," we left. One of my tacos was broken everywhere, the tomatoes felt like they had barely started to thaw, and of course there was hardly meat. A complete shame to call "food." I was so hungry, this was for me. And I finished still hungry. The other options here late night are McD and Safeway expensive frozen meals or SW groceries...Never again taco bell.... I've lived here for seven years, our plan is to return to TX soon and CANNOT wait to go back. My husband is local hawaiian Japanese and feels the same way. Good food is a huge part of my life. I had the absolute best spots in TX, for dirt cheap at any time of day. Honolulu is NOT cutting it and is not the place for foodies. Awful experience at Taco bell, and just eating on this...
Read moreHonestly, if I could give negative stars.. this would be the review to leave it on. Approached the location wanting to drive-inn but it was backed out onto the road so to prevent traffic I decided to go inside to order [biggest mistake ever]. Staff didn’t acknowledge me til’ nearly 5 mins of standing there waiting for my order to be taken. Saw a full kitchen staff working like they have no care in the world, ideally I would think that a simple order should be quick. 5-7 minutes has gone by and I’m patiently waiting for someone to ask if I’ve already ordered or asked to see why I’m just standing there. 3 customers got came within the following 10 minutes and placed there order. Another 5 minutes have passed and the 3 orders have gotten their food and left while I’m still here waiting for my order. After giving them the benefit of the doubt.. given it was busy, the 25 minute wait for my food inside the restaurant I was no longer a happy and paying customer. Asked for a refund and they made an attempt to keep me as a customer but once again, the workers just glared in disgust than proceeded to “try” to look like they were in a hurry to finish the order. Management and staff at this location on May 23rd, at approximately 9PM.. should be either reprimanded or go through proper training again. This is unacceptable regardless business, a customer should never feel in any way of disgust because of a complaint that is valid. Whoever this franchise is ran by, I would highly suggest for renewal of staff or have a secret shopper to experience this outrageous customer service and work ethics. Absolutely horrible. If I could leave negative stars all over.. in the terms of Michelin stars. This would’ve been a Michelin star -10 rating. Worst Taco Bell service I’ve EVER...
Read moreThere is seating for about 25 people inside the building and I'm grateful that they're open. But because their drive-thru line is always so busy, the lobby is usually full and when I was there, had over 15 people waiting for their orders that they had ordered in the restaurant. Of course I'm not the owner and I understand complications to get things done faster when you're simply just busy, but it seems like there could have been more done to get things out quicker. We waited for 22 minutes to get our order. It is expensive there and I'm not going to complain about that because it's just Honolulu and that's just what they do, but I do wish things were more affordable like they are stateside.
One actual legitimate issue in there is that the menu font on their screens I kid you not is like a size 18 font. And I had to use my camera to zoom in even being behind the register to see what the menu was saying and I do not need glasses. It's excessively small and unnecessary because the menu only has about half as many items as other Taco Bell State side so there's a lot of room to make your font bigger.
The quality of the bean and cheese burritos and some of the cheaper menu items that we got was pretty poor and I've eaten at well over 50 Taco bells in my life and I would rate this the lowest quality.
And I'm going to be a karen, but the young lady working the register on Sunday November 20th was probably the rudest person I've ever talked to in my entire life and wouldn't acknowledge me confirming my order and legit just wouldn't give me actual answers to the questions I was asking about the food because it was a lot different there than...
