This place is a welcomed addition to the area! And it’s way more fun in person. The ball pit is unbelievably huge, though it could still use about 5000 more balls. Almost everything was operational except for the ball guns. The space is quite large so it’s not crowded—yet.
A few issues to be mindful of. There’s something about the angle of the three slides when it levels off. So there were kids falling backward and banging their head, including our LO. The grippy socks can be dangerous going down the slide if your LO plants his/her feet. There are older kids that who can be unsupervised who will throw themselves into the ball pit, making constant supervision/protection of your LO necessary. No masks are required and there were parents and kids coughing, so be prepared to pick up a virus if unmasked. The sand box is good fun but could be tidied up more frequently by the staff, as well as the Brio train stations.
There are lockers where you can store valuables and shoes, accessible by a bracelet with a sensor. Food and beverage is available for sale, as well as toys and vending machines. There is a gate around the parking lot providing some comfort for those worried about the vagabonds outside. Military discount is offered.
The one recommendation I have is for management to please sell the toys that are used in the Keiki Kingdom, in addition to your other offerings. My LO was crying because he wanted to take the Brio trains. I would love to have bought the item he wanted to take if it was available for sale.
Finally, there were employees in the tunnels spraying and cleaning as the kids went. But they eventually stopped. Not sure what the cleaning policy is but it would be great if you could keep that up the entire time. There were so many employees that it was hard to count them all, so there definitely...
Read moreThe only reason to give two stars is because the facility is great but the staff need A LOT MORE training because the customer service was atrocious. We pre-registered so that we wouldn't need to wait but we ended up waiting 25 minutes in line anyway. We stood there watching multiple walk-ins go before us.
There was a large party ahead of us, filling out waivers in the pre-registeted line. If people do not have their waivers signed and are holding up a long line for those of us who pre-paid and registered, shouldn't the staff address those of us who are waiting in a courteous way? At least some basic gratitude or a kind apology could have been offered. Instead, after waiting all that time, the staff offered no apology and even proceeded to give us an attitude.
It was our first time there and when we asked questions regarding the process, the female at the counter gave a confusing explanation, and didn't even offer any helpful feedback. She basically just shoved the bands, socks, and a plastic bracelet (which we eventually figured out was for the lockers) at us on the counter, so we just took the stuff and proceeded to figure things out ourselves.
Some customer service training would be helpful to deal with situations and teach basic courteous service delivery. Pre-registration could be better streamlined with a system or method to manage people who do not take the time to pre-complete the waiver. That way, other customers who pay and fill out their waivers ahead of time are not standing in line watching walk-ins enter faster than those who did everything upfront. Our experience could have been drastically improved, even with a wait, if the customer service had...
Read moreStaffing, are a bunch of young teens. My attempts at interacting with 3 different staff, they were basically useless and no assistance, resolution or with no knowledgeable response. Price $27.00 for 2 hours per child, plus $5.00 per adult to tend to child ( they will not monitor your child ), plus $ 3.00 per child and adult for their brand socks ( can't use your own) tax. Yes, even my 10 month old held child needed to pay the $27.00 plus extras. Look to spend $70.00+ dollars for 2 hours of unorganize chaos. Big huge kids knocking over toddlers, run up wrong end of slides and tunnels, total mayhem. Approximately 140 -150 guest in play area during our visit. It's like going to a big park with simple toys your kids already have at home. Lots of the exhibition ride were periodically shut down during the 2 hours, not sure if short staffing, staff breaks or broken. Parking is decent, completely full when we arrived, but only waited less than 10 mins, for one to free up. Don't get me wrong, my 4 year old enjoyed herself, but also enjoys just as much going to the park, swings, slides, obstacle course at most newer public park. Also, going to the movies or swimming pool, rates the same level of enjoyment, if not more. So, my final outlook is, if you dont mind being " nickle and dimed", large crowds of uncontrolled kids and walking around in $3.00 throw away socks, this is the place for you. Also, if there aren't any available parking stalls, wait ... don't go venturing off outside property, because that whole area is in fested with homeless. Not knocking homeless, but I personally saw some shaddy things going on during my departure from...
