Overall my experience at HookahHookah was terrible. I decided to try this hookah lounge out my first night in town (a Friday night). There were a decent amount of people already there but nobody before me to order. Still it took a while to even get my order placed. After placing my order the Hookah actually came out in a timely fashion. I’ve had hookah from all over the world and i’ve learned never to set high expectations on the quality of hookah. The hookah wasn’t terrible but the service was! After about 30 mins I get the attention of one of the worker and ask for him if he could change our coals. He responded in a very friendly manner saying yes and that he had he’s guys already working on the replacement. 20 minutes go by and the same worker walks by our area again and I ask him politely if the new coals were still coming and he assured me they were. ANOTHER 15 mins passes and the guy walks by our area again but this time he sits down with another party and they begin to converse amongst each other, not sure if they were friends or not. At this point I wanted to leave but my group wanted to stay so I walk up to the register and ask another worker for coals and explained to him I asked his coworker a couple times already. Now this guy was very nice, apologized on behalf of his coworker and assured me he will replace our coals quickly. He came back with the new coals in about 2-3 mins, apologizing (again) on behalf of his coworker. As we are leaving the cashier (completely different guy) gave me the bill. After getting the bill EVERYTHING about the HORRIBLE SERVICE made sense. This place charges BY THE HOUR!!!! I was NOT NOTIFIED of this beforehand. The long wait for coals was intentionally and the first server was essentially ignoring my request to keep me there longer. I explained to the third server I felt the first individual provider horrible service and my request were being ignored. His response was, “you aren’t welcomed back! you don’t have to worry about his service anymore”. I never ever encountered anything like this but all I could do is laugh and leave. Save your time and money! Avoid this place at all cost!
