HELLO? IMO THESE ARE THE BEST AND TASTIEST TRADITION STREET TACOS IN ALL OF HAWAII NEI!! I lived on the West coast Continent and I am a self-certified taco truck fanatic. Taco truck are the OG food trucks before these modern food trucks have become. Traditionally taco trucks were to feel the common hardworking blue collar workers and migrant workers for cheap with simple delicious protein rich meals so they produce tortas, burritos and tacos. Traditional taco trucks have seemed to survive with the concepts of using the KISS Rule and staying affordable. Pueblo beets all these simple criteria. This is the my first time here and from the the initial experience to ultimately the my taste buds reminding me that any previous supposed street taco experience in Hawaii had be just Okay to just being to expensive for tacos. Mainland traditional taco trucks tacos per taco cost around $1.75 to $2.75. I understand this is Hawaii so we realize the cost of food to prep is expensive. However, the tacos should meet the tradition of being delicious. I believe Pueblo hits the mark both being affordable and the meats are delicious/ono! Just writing this makes me crave their tacos. Don’t expect TikTok trending combinations. No Hurricane this or Taco Moco that. That’s not what’s making their Yacos the Best. ITS THEIR SIMPLY DELICIOUS AND HONEST FOOD. PLUS THEIR TACO SAUCES HIT ESPECIALLY THEIR TOMATILLO GREEN SAUCE! So Good I’m shouting! To day might be day 3 there again for me!

Was craving Mexican and had seen this place last time I was at Safeway, so decided to stop in for taco Tuesday. They had an awesome deal of $10 for 3 adobada tacos! We also got 3 carne asada tacos to try them out as well. Everything was excellent and great value! Came with two salsas, which were both great - different tastes and spice levels. Better than most tacos I’ve had in Honolulu! It’s a tiny little truck but service was friendly and fast. There’s also a small seating area and ample parking between the lot by the liquor store and Safeway (where you can also run in for a drink or desert while food is being made). We will definitely be back and can’t wait to try other menu items! Didn’t get a pic before we started digging in, but you can see how tasty it looks.

This food truck may have a limited menu, mainly offering carne asada and adobada, but it definitely delivers on flavor—the tacos are delicious! Be warned, the sauces pack a punch—they’re tasty but quite spicy. Service is friendly and efficient. While there’s not much in terms of atmosphere (it is a food truck, after all), its convenient location next to Safeway on Beretania makes it a great spot for a quick, satisfying meal.

I came here on the recommendation of a friend, and was greeted by a hospitable counter person. Me and my mother ordered the beef quesadilla ($13) and beef taco ($4). Our order came out in the span of 5-10 minutes. We squeezed out the complimentary sauces and had our first bites. It was nothing short of amazing. The beef, onions, cheese, and salsa helped bring together a sweet, spicy, and rich flavor within the quesadilla. If you don’t believe me, go to Pueblo Mexican Food and try a quesadilla...
