So let's start with the best part of the experience: the food. I ordered a hot dog, and stated that I wanted it "All The Way," although the cashier didn't understand what that meant - more on that in a moment. I also ordered two shakes, chocolate and vanilla, and some onion rings and fries. The hot dog was pretty good, and made fairly well. The onion rings were among the best I've ever tried. And the shakes were more-than-decent, as well.
My rating comes from my drive-through window experience. The cashier, who will remain unnamed, seemed totally disinterested in anything that was going on. Now, being totally fair to them, it's later at night, they were very young, and I'm the only one in the drive through. However, I believe that there is a certain candor with which one must carry themselves, and I believe that they fell short, on this particular night.
When I first approached the drive through, I greeted the cashier as I do at every restaurant - "Hello! How are you doing tonight?"
The first time, I heard no answer, perhaps I wasn't heard. So I asked again.
I was met with a scoff and stern reply akin to "Go ahead," albeit I don't remember exactly what was said, just that there was no attempt made to answer my question.
They were standoffish when I ordered my hot dog all the way - and I can understand if that's not Freddy's vernacular, but it's also not an unreasonable assumption to put all the standard fare on the hot dog, with that terminology.
I arrived at the window, and their politeness improved, slightly, but they were more interested in speaking to another person that was working, than making sure I had my order correct, speaking to me at all, etc.
Now I can't predict what may have been going on in their life at the time - sometimes, life is just hard - however, there is still a reasonable baseline in which to act, and I believe they fell far short. I've already posted this review on Freddy's official website, but I would like for this not to happen to someone else. I'm not asking for them to be terminated or anything of that nature - it's hard enough getting a job right now - just that they read this and understands that your choices have impact. Hopefully, something positive can be garnered from this...
Read moreI had an incredibly disappointing experience during my recent visit to this location. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the customer service here was far from satisfactory. After waiting nearly 10 minutes for someone to assist us, the Manager finally approached us. What I observed next left me thoroughly unimpressed.
As she approached, I couldn't help but notice her apparent frustration, exemplified when she aggressively turned off a running sink nearby. This set the tone for our interaction. There was no eye contact, no warm greeting, just a brusque push of the order screen, as if my request was an inconvenience. I attempted to customize my order, but she didn't allow any modifications (by not listening and being walking off in such a hurry), handing me the receipt in silence before walking away. I did eventually get it fixed and got what I wanted. Two plain burgers with cheese. And a fry, which I had to order afterwards for my second attempt at ordering.
In my opinion, a Manager should embody professionalism and set a positive example for their team. Sadly, this Manager fell short of those expectations. I made an effort to maintain a friendly demeanor despite her attitude, but it was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority.
This experience was not only unprofessional but also unwelcoming. I regret to say that I won't be returning to this location, and I feel compelled to share my experience with my friends who enjoy places like Freddy's, urging them to avoid this particular establishment. It's disheartening when a place that should be inviting makes you feel unwanted. I give the food four stars, simply because the cook was kind, but I'd give this location ZERO stars if that were an option. Unfortunately, I had to leave one. AVOID. Save your money and time and go somewhere that...
Read moreGood food. If. You're expecting a thich jucy burger, this isn't the place for you. The fries were hot and good. They have a jalapeño fry sauce that was really good with a little kick but not too hot. I really liked it and I usually love ketchup, which they had also if I wanted it. I got some but enjoy the jalapeño fry sauce so much that I had a lot of ketchup left over. The chili cheese frys were wonderful.
The place was extremely clean and the staff was well groomed, friendly, efficient and polite.
As pleased as I was with the majority of this place, I have to say I was disappointed with the dessert. I had their concrete brownie with cherry. It was more like a cool soup not nearly frozen enough to be called concrete. Really not frozen at all. I didn't taste any cherry in it at all. That could have been because the family member who ordered them for us forgot to add the cherry, but the unfrozen concrete was not the family members fault. I must say that what I did get was great flavor, so I can see how good it would have been if it was frozen.
Other than that it was good. I wasn't expecting the thin, flatop hamburger patty, it was flavorful but not juicy. It was my first time having one, I prefer the jucy thick burgers myself.
Overall, it was a...
