After ordering my food and being asked to pull to the first window to pay, no one was there to accept my money. The car ahead of me and the person on the intercom were having a heated exchange. After hearing that, I made sure that I was polite and grateful for my order being taken. I got to the second window. The lady on the intercom told me that I had to drive back around to the first window so I could pay. I told her that I was waiting at the first window for two to three minutes at least while they dealt with the car that the person on the intercom was having the interaction with. Another team member came to the window and said that the manager told her not to take my order. I told the second associate that I hoped that her manager didn't confuse me with the car ahead of me and that I was polite with her while giving my order. This associate said that she would take my order anyway, so kudos to her, but I told her that I didn't want her to get in trouble with her manager, and I decided to leave. They are about to be closed till December due to a remodel, but once they reopen, I will not be going back there to spend my money. It's funny that they took the order from someone they had a heated interaction with and did not take the order from someone who appreciated someone who worked in...
Read more8.4.17 Went through the drive thru just past breakfast hours, like 10 minutes. They had already started their lunch/dinner menu for the day. The Breakfast manager on shift was Richette Wingard. I was going to BG because my Mama who is severely disabled and not eating well, wanted a plain sausage croissant. I asked what they had left from the breakfast shift, she told me just a couple of items. Richette asked me to pull up, I did, she said "Sweetie, how can I help you?". Now, let me say, many years ago "I" was a breakfast manager at the BG on 301 near the coliseum, which is no longer there. I know how BG, all shifts work. Richette dropped two fresh sausage patties through the broiler and made my Mama two fresh croissants and put plenty of jelly for the croissants in the bag. She ALSO, made me a freshly made original chicken sandwich instead of what was prepared waiting under the heat lamp. Everything was delicious, fresh and hot! ONE MORE THING...I have not been to ANY BG in over 28 years until that day. AWESOME JOB RICHETTE...
Read moreIce tea was SO SPOILED ( even tried behind the counter tea also which was served to me by the manager!) that it was cloudy and almost "thick" consistency, rotten to the taste. I've never been in a restaurant with tea that SPOILED. Onion rings were soggy and obviously microwaved instead of deep fried. Cheeseburger was terrible with a artificial smoke flavor. No grills were on, everything microwaved. Fish sandwich was soggy and microwaved. This is a BRAND NEW Burger King built from a old style Burger King that was previously in business until tear down. That BK served good food. This new BK IS ALL AUTOMATED, you don't order or speak to a human unless there's a problem. And the food is horrible. I just found a strange green string in my mouth while eating the lettuce on my sandwich. Won't be eating here anymore or BK if this is the new age. What a let down, BK used to have great burgers. I HOPE UPPER MANAGEMENT...
