Wendy's — Restaurant in Horn Lake

We were traveling for about 9 hrs at the time & wanted to stop & get some food. It was about 2:45 pm, our daughter went up to the door to go in because we were going to go inside to eat, to get out of the car. "When our daughter tried to open the door, it was locked"!!! She looked up the phone # for this Wendy's to see why the door was locked in the middle of the afternoon when workers were clearly inside, behind the counter without any customers there! They rudely said that the door was not locked... then she saw a worker walk to the door & unlock it! That was just the 1st of the problems that we had at that Wendy's! My husband & daughter went to the counter to place our order, while I went to sit down with our 4 yr. old granddaughter. They placed my order of a chicken sandwich with cheese & Xtra pickles ONLY. The woman at the counter brought out a regular made chicken sandwich with the normal stuff on it. My daughter told her that it was supposed to be with cheese & extra pickles ONLY. The woman behind the counter said, "Well, the sandwich has already been made."My daughter told her that it was made wrong & the woman seemed mad that the sandwich had to be re-made. I am not sure if the older woman was the "manager or not, but if she was, she is setting a bad example for her employees & treating customers like they don't really matter! We definitely "WON'T" be stopping at that Wendy's when we take that trip again. We take that trip every 2 or 3 yrs. to...

I showed up about 8:15am coming off the highway to grab some morning breakfast. I usually enjoy the number one combo, so I decided to come by Wendy's. Upon arriving, I pulled into the drive through and waited to be given the go ahead to order.

The guy on the speaker told me to go ahead with my order. As I started to tell him what I wanted, it was clear he was having a conversation with someone else as it came over the speaker pretty clearly. He then asked me a second time to go ahead with my order, so I repeated my order again. The overall tone of the guy felt like I was rushed, and very rude. He asked me multiple times before I was even done speaking, if that was all. I ordered a large number one combo with an extra sandwich, and I barely had time to finish saying that before being asked " so I guess you don't want a drink?". I had ordered a combo, so i assumed a drink was part of it??

I was a little confused, and it definitely came off as rude, but I leaned out the window and started to say what I wanted to drink, yet they repeated the question again, very much with an attitude and rudeness that I wasn't expecting.

Ultimately, I ended up just driving down the street and getting something right from bojangles, which wasn't really what I wanted, but was way better than dealing with such a rude and unexpected interaction. I still definitely enjoy wendy's breakfast, but I don't think I'll be stopping by this...

The woman in the first window hardly said a word before I asked if I should swipe my card myself. She replied: yeah. After I swiped it, she mumbled something as she shut the window and walked away. So I waited. She came back and told me my receipt would be at the second window. The woman at the second window just handed me my food and drinks and shut the window, literally, without saying a word. I thought there might be something else so I waited until she came back. She came back to the window and asked me if I needed anything else. When I explained I was confused because I thought there may be something else she shut the window without saying another word. I'd rather them be rude than not say anything to me at all.

The food was alright or average and the order was correct. Though, the coke tasted like vanilla coke or a mix of coke and Dr. Pepper.

If you really must have Windy's, it'll just do. But if you are in the area and are looking for fast food: make a left on Goodman and just a few lights down on the right there is a really good Chick-fil-A that's very fast, the food is always fresh, hot and perfect and every single employee is so polite it seems like they...
