309 General Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Hot Springs

We came back to Hot Springs from a long day of tourist-ing, and we were so happy to see 309 was open -- they have been advertising Frito pie on the board outside, and that sure did sound good, but until today our schedule was not matching up with their open hours. We felt so welcomed as soon as we entered, and the place has a really good vibe. Each person on staff greeted us and made us feel glad we came in. The service was friendly and attentive (and we got free entertainment with a pretty cool card trick from the young table busser ♥️♣️♠️♦️). I had the chicken quesadilla and my husband had the Frito pie, and we had a pretty good competition on who was the winner. We both were! The flavors were on point. This restaurant is going to be a gathering spot, with great food and friendly folks, plus, once they bring in live music, I'm sure they'll draw locals and tourists in. Highly recommended, and...

309 really knocked it out of the park with the Burger of the Month! I paired the Garlic Parmesan Burger with the Truffle Parmesan Fries, and let me tell you — my taste buds were in heaven.

The burger was an absolute flavor bomb, with the homemade bun adding that perfect touch of softness that really elevated the whole experience. Savory goodness in every bite!

The Truffle Parmesan Fries: Total game-changer. Crispy and golden, drenched in rich truffle oil and topped with a generous amount of Parmesan — the fries were the perfect sidekick to the burger.

On top of the incredible food, the vibe at 309 is exactly what I’m looking for. That laid-back dive bar feel combined with great service makes it my new favorite spot. I’m definitely coming...

Ignore the picky eater who left a one-star review! This is an incredibly friendly, welcoming dinner spot. Yes, the menu is limited. It doesn't claim to be an Applebee's, and nobody is trying for Michelin stars here! It's a humble local eatery that transforms into a fun bar as the evening progresses.

We were there as a family last night, and we enjoyed quick service, very friendly fellow customers, and some much-needed AC. They had shredded buffalo (not always available) for quesadillas, which were absolutely delicious. There were several other couples and families enjoying their dinners as well.

Of note: Every person who helped us, from the owner to new trainees, was incredibly kind and polite ... and fun to talk to. Will definitely be...
