Okay this place was so amazing to see!! It is 4 floors plus a basement. I dont suggest small children or ancy adults because there is so much to read and look at. They do have an elevator for handicap or if you cannot walk stairs unfortunately you miss some spots that are only accessible by about 8-10 steps. One thing I loved about this museum was the fact you could actually touch some things as well as look in the old books! Downfall do not go on a hot day because it is sweltering in there with no A.C. and the higher up you went the hotter it got. The overlook was pretty and hard to believe kids walked up that hill and stairs in all kinds of weather. It is the epitome of "when I was a kid...". The lady at the front was really neat to sit...

This museum has a lot of potential, but needs some work. The museum has an impressive collection of artifacts, but items need better interpretation. Why are they in the collection, what is their significants to Hot Springs and Fall River County, etc. Some of the items were dirty, there were dead bugs in the porcelain bowls for example, and looked like they've been there a while. The building itself, the old school house, is very cool! But some of the rooms were so stuffy that you didn't want to spend time in them. Ventilating old buildings can be tough, so I forgive this, but hopefully is something they...

The museum is in an old schoolhouse and the stairs was hard my knees. But I was impressed with the amount of things they had in this Museum. They even had some antiques like I have in my private collection. The man who was working there even knew of the little town where I was raised, so we had a nice chat. On the way out there was a blacktail buck in velvet just outside but he was faster on the jump than I was with my...

I stopped here after noticing a sign for it, it wasn’t on my plans for the day. I’m happy I did stop in. The worker immediately greets you and gives an interesting talk about the history of the building. There is quite a large and eclectic assortment of items and displays. This is a true history museum. The admission price is low as well.

Knowledgeable ladies giving that's some history of the area and current goings on! Lots of relevant intricate historical pieces of clothing, lots of buttons, furniture housewares... and new to the museum is a small section at the top of local artists!
