Let me first start off by saying that I have always went to Applebee's to eat with family and friends. It WAS a good place to eat but now it has gone down within the last 3 years. I was in the mood for a rack of ribs and for the last 5 time I have been there they have had some kind of excuse as to why they could not make the ribs. It has been from the grill is down or we are out of ribs. Well my boyfriend decided to take me out again and try for ribs and he wanted a steak. Which we figured Applebee's would be perfect to achieve both for a decent price. So we decided to give it another try! We were so WRONG! They once again for the sixth time had an excuse about the ribs being out. Of course this made no sense to me seeing it was 7 at night and I have been all the other times different hours and was told the same thing within different months. Well instead of walking out like I SHOULD have and took our service elsewhere, further more agreed to a steak with loaded garlic potatoes and a side of mac and cheese with bacon. While my boyfriend got two sides of garlic mash potatoes with his steak. We ordered sweet tea and a coke to drink with an order of cheese sticks. Well the ONLY thing I can say that was worth eating was the cheese sticks and coke. The steaks were horrible and I do mean HORRIBLE! We both didn't even eat ANY of the servings of anything on the plates after trying two bites of everything. It was that BAD! The mashed garlic potatoes were like soup almost. They were not the consistency of the way they should and tasted awful. They put a glob of sour cream that out weighed my potatoes on top. The mac and cheese was so dry as if it was over cooked and I do mean DRY!!!! If that wasn't enough the tea was as if they was trying to throw someone into diabetic acoma.Thank goodness I'm not a diabetic. We waited 30-45 minutes for our main dishes to make it too us. Our experience here has made us really not want to try Applebee's again. We payed $58 dollars for a meal that was Gross and the proportions were not worth it. I pray this review will help someone to find a better solution for a date or time out with their family or friends. I can say Colton's is a nice place to go or so is Outback! You may spend a little extra at Colton's but at least they are all about the service and getting food to you in a timely manner. Applebee's if your reading this then you know you are ripping people off and you are so...
Read moreWhere do I start! I’ll start at if I could give no stars I WOULD! My husband and I were visited this place around 4pm on Saturday. Upon walking in we could see 5 employees (yes, I counted) standing in the rear conversing amongst each other. The hostess seemed over it! Like she was ready to go home! She grab menus to seat us. We walked all around the front half and side while she looked for a table. There were 3 parties (2 of them had 2 people and the other had maybe 7-8 people) EVERY EMPTY TABLE FROM THE FRONT TO THE SIDE WHERE THE REGISTER SAT WAS DIRTY! None had been busted. The woman at the register told the hostess she didn’t have an empty table cause none were clean that we had to sat else where. It seemed she was the only one working compared to everyone else. Once she finally sat us, we sat and waited and waited and waited and waited. The side we were sat on everyone had empty plates just sitting which peaked my interest cause to me that screams running behind or slow service! Two ladies walked out I thought one was headed to the table but no, they took time to stand at the hostess station doing idk what then turned to go back to the kitchen all while laughing and talking. So we waited and waited. Finally one of the waitresses finally makes her way to the table DRYYYYY as ever “hi, sorry bout the wait. Do you know what you want to drink?” That sent me over the edge. Cause we’ve already waited an excusable amount of time. And we were the only ones to enter during the whole time. And every table in the restaurant had food but 1 (which was served to them as soon as we were seated). And it was only 6 parties not including us in the entire restaurant! I would NEVER suggest going here EVER! I haven’t ate at this establishment in over 20yrs...

Steaks always cooked right. I always order mine well done and it’s always cooked perfectly. Fully cooked (I like no pink at all) but still juicy and flavorful! My husband gets his always medium rare. He says it’s always better than every steak house in town (and we have a bunch to choose from)
. My husband and I came here to eat after we eloped in 2014 and it really has been a favorite ever since. I come regularly with my kids, usually about once a month. But here lately with their kids specials on Tuesday’s we are coming every week. My husband and I still come alone on date nights semi regularly as well. We always have great service.
We have had many different waiters/waitresses. Only once did we have an issue with a waitress. She spent more time flirting with a guy behind us than working. But eh, that was bad but if your in this business you know there is always going to be a bad apple or two. The pros way far outweigh the one bad waitress.
Each Teusday night I go alone with my kids the waitstaff and even the manager check in on us regularly. Food quality and drink refills, and so much more, without being over bearing or annoying. It’s usually pretty quiet too 😁 the other restaurant we tried I won’t name, ok yes I will Texas Roadhouse (way over hyped! Steaks no where near good, loud atmosphere like a dirty bar, and waitstaff too busy to help) was so loud my husband and I couldn’t even hear each other talk!
I highly recommend this Applebee’s and if you do go and have a bad experience or something wrong just let them know. They have this customer service thing down pat! I go more than once for...
