Let me start off by saying I've never had an issue with sonic before, but now I'm pissed. I stopped here March 21, 2018 and had a large ice water, large cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper and a float. The total was $4.42. I swiped my card at the menu board. It was approved. The car hop brings my food and asks if I paid already, I said yes. I had never been asked this so I was confused. Usually they know. She hands me my drinks and heads back inside. She then returns asking for my card because "it didn't go through." I didn't argue because I figured something went wrong. Before I leave, I check my account. There is the fee of $4.42 and then also a fee of $7.22 from the same location. I live 45 minutes from hot springs so there's no way it's an old transaction. I call the next day. Manager is gone. I call the day after that and the manager tells me she cannot put the money back on my card but can give me a $15.00 gift card for my trouble and informed me I paid for someone else's meal by mistake. I tell her that's fine. She tells me the card will be in within 2 days she was sending it that day. It is now April 2nd. I hate to complain but I won't be taken advantage of. Money was stolen from my card and I was not reimbursed whatsoever. I will not be back and I will make sure everyone knows not to use their card...
Read moreMy wife & I went there last night & she ordered the crispy chicken dinner which in the picture shows gravy with it. Though the car hop said you now have to ask for the gravy & it cost extra. The cherry limeade i ordered had no limes & no cherries in it. So im guessing drinks are no longer made with real fruit as their sign/menu also reads. Also the simplest thing I ordered the boneless hot wings & did not get a fork come on... Also apparently they no longer serve banana splits. I'm not trying to bad mouth Sonic I'm only posting this review so they can hopefully change for the better. Although like not having real fruit in the drinks IDK if maybe their trying to cut cost just as most big companies are doing or what though real fruit is supposed to be kinda their thing ya know... We love Sonic & will continue to dine there though just hope they will get better. Also they were not slammed @ 9:00 last night & we waited for 32 mins...
Read moreI am a regular customer and wont be any more. My order is ALWAYS wrong. I never get the sauce I ask for. I am regularly forgotten about after I order and have to ask about the progress of my order, sometimes waiting 15-20+ minutes for my 2 item order when is not very busy. The ONLY redeeming quality is that the breakfast food is usualy better than the neighboring McDonald's.
I have been waiting to write this, thinking that maybe things would get better. I have even tried being more direct and clear when ordering food, and asking for a time frame for when my order will be completed thinking that would potentially improve the quality of service.
I have not had any of these problems with other sonic locations in town. I really hope every thing improves at this location because I do usualy enjoy the food but when I have to ask for my order multiple times just to have my food and drink to both come out wrong....
