Everyone can have a bad day, but here are facts:
We were the only customers in the restaurant. There may have been very light drive through traffic, but not much.
After placing our order for two fish sandwiches with cheese, the cashier informed us that they would need to "drop in" the fish patties and would "bring them to our table when they were ready".
When they completed our order, they did not bring the sandwiches to our table, but rather summoned us to the counter to retrieve our own sandwiches. Fine. No biggie.
When we take our fish sandwiches back to the table, we discover that they do not have cheese. We take the sandwiches along with fhe receipt back to the counter to address the matter. Again, we are still the only customers in the store at this time...
There follows a brief argument among the workers as to whether cheese was included in the order are not. We point to our receipt which clearly indicates that we ordered cheese. More discussion on the sandwich assembly line. (Let me be clear here that the argument is between the coworkers and no belligerence is coming from our side of the counter.)
Their solution? They take the sandwiches, open them, place a slice of cheese upon each one, partially re-wrap the sandwich and slide the tray dismissively back to us across the counter.
Look, folks. Hot Springs has a notorious problem with getting slapdash service through any and all fast food drive-through windows. Everyone expects this and accepts this since they have no choice if they want a quick meal out and about. Part of living in a tourist town, I guess.
However, I should think a sanity check is in order if we continue to patronize this establishment. Good luck to you if you go during a high-volume lunch hour. In my experience, poor attitudes which affect performance to this degree are indicative of a much bigger problem and do not occur...
Read moreThis Wendy’s location is a disaster. Went in on a Saturday afternoon to place an order of chili . I was called to the register and refunded . I was told they didn’t have any chili and did not plan to make any . This was in the afternoon on Saturday. I went in the very next day , placed my order and while I was waiting some employees that were obviously off the clock and not working came in just to hang out and talk with the manager and other employees. They had a small child with them and they were extremely loud and using profanity. I tried to ignore the best I could however when they put the toddler in only a diaper on the counter where the food is served I just walked out . They can keep my money. I do not want to eat there . The most concerning thing about this was the manager was right there talking to them allowing this to happen . I can’t imagine what else they do that customers don’t know about . This place is gross . Find another Wendy’s because this one is not run well or at all . The manager has lost complete control trying to be a friend to their employees instead of a manager . The health department needs to be called on this as a dirty diaper on a food counter is...

I get to the house with my GRANDS, I opened the sandwich it was cold as well, along with the nuggets, the meat was not fresh. Yes I could have heated them but that's not the point. I looked for a receipt none on the bag nor in it. I paid cash and not with my card. I won't go there again. I love the one on Albert Pike always have. It was the manager that took my order because he was in plain clothes, also young. They were kinda busy so you'd think hot fresh....
