Came in for lunch after noticing they serve Po'Boys. The staff is very friendly and know their regulars. No masks on staff but some clients wear them. There are a few tables behind thrle self srve fountaindrinks dispenser that serves ur normal cocacola brand sodas. it's a nice small place, great for a nice quiet lunch with someone because of its very laidback atmosphere. I ordered the Shimp Po'Boy with chips and a fountain drinkfpr under $12 not including tip. I enjoyed the sandwich, the bread was toasted with a slight char that i really enjoyed. The spread they use was good and well complimented by the thin sliced tomatoes and crunch of the iceberg lettuce. However, I was left wishing they used larger shimp rather than the popcorn shrimp they used, though deep fried with good flavor some bites took longer to chew as the shrimp was fried but stale like.

Overall a good experience that left me wanting more. I'd. give it a 3.5 bit there are no...

The staff was friendly, but I did have a bit of an awkward moment when the woman taking my daughter’s order seemed to walk off before it was complete. It wasn’t exactly funny at the time, but looking back, it did make me chuckle a bit.

As for the Philly cheesesteak, I was a bit disappointed. It felt like the meat was pre-made and just kept warm, which made the sandwich dry. A true Philly cheesesteak should have American or Cheese Whiz along with provolone, but this one didn’t have that, making it less flavorful than expected. Also, there are no fries available, just chips—so if you’re craving fries, you’ll need to look elsewhere. At $10, the sandwich was smaller than I had anticipated.

The salads did look really good, though, and I’m curious to try one next time, or perhaps a different sandwich like the meatball or shrimp po-boy. I might give them another shot, but I’ll be exploring other options...

While this quarantine in effect I try to give my business to the local ones as long as they’re following guidelines. Ordered a corned beef combo. Biting into felt like I was biting into an oversized crouton. The bread was terribly stale, and just crumbled everywhere and difficult to bite into sand what little corned beef that was on it was so cold there were ice crystals on some slices. The sauerkraut and Swiss cheese were also cold. The meat and toppings were barely over 1/4” tall so the sandwich was mostly stale bread instead of a rueben. I always been served them slightly warmed everywhere else I’ve had it. Lastly I reached for a bag of sweet onion chips to complete my combo and she told I could take baked lays and nothing else😳 so I said I’d pay for them. She proceeded to take the lays out and I was like heck no put them back if I have to pay for them. Sorry don’t think I’ll be back....

I was reading all of the great reviews for this place, when I came across the horrible one for their shrimp Poboy. Unfortunately, that is exactly what my daughter and I had just ordered. The people are very friendly, the service time is short and the place is clean, but just as in the other review, it had no flavor. The shrimp seems kind of old as the breading was sloughing off, as though it was soggy. It was like they just reheated popcorn shrimp in the microwave. if you try anything, like pulling it off the sandwich instead of biting as a whole, you will find that the specialized sauce is really the only thing that has flavor. If we are in town long enough, I might try the meatball, but this is definitely $30 we should’ve spent someplace else.

Anton’z takes the guesswork out of ordering a sandwich. They don’t ask what what kind of bread or what you want on it. Although, I’m sure they would oblige with any changes. I ordered a club sandwich which only comes in one size. It’s slightly larger than a Subway 6 inch sandwich. It was quite good and bit more than you might pay at another chain sandwich shop. I also ordered the potato salad which really hit the spot. As others have commented, the staff were friendly and patient. Give it a try if you want a different tasting sandwich.

First off my pictures doesn’t do this any service. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and it smelled so good I couldn’t take a much better picture. The taste was just as good as it smelled, I’m assuming it was the owners that were there and they were as nice as could be. Love the decor inside that has a welcoming atmosphere. I’d recommend anyone if you’re around NRG stadium and you’re hungry this is a great place to visit.
