I have a mixed review about this place. I made reservation for three on a Sunday to do something different with a sister/friend visiting from out of town. The wait to be seated took about 30 mins. The bartender at the outside bar took another 30 mins to make a Champagne Tower after we paid nearly $80 for it, that included his prefixed tip. When I asked him what was taking so long he instantly caught an attitude. We exchanged several words all while other customers looked on. (So unprofessional) When we were seated we were told to order food from the outside bar. We were told the kitchen is closed. We went to the inside bar and tried to order food but were repeatedly told the kitchen was closed. Now it wasn't our fault it took so long for us to be seated, so why should we be penalized? Well one of the owners/ managers saved this establishments reputation that day; because every moment before he stepped in, was a complete car wreck! I apologize for not remembering the young man's name but he was so gracious and apologetic for everything. He made sure we were able to order food and we received our Champagne Tower from the bar all just in time to be asked to leave the establishment because the team had to set up for an event slated for later that evening. My friend asked one of the security guards if she could use the ladies room before we leave. He said yes. My daughter and I stood inside near the bar area speaking with the security guard while other members of staff repeatedly said we needed to leave. I explained we were waiting on someone using the restroom. They said you need to wait outside. The over all wait staff was just rude!!! What a horrible first impression. I mean you try to support black owned establishments but get treated like your money and patronage doesn't mean anything. This story gets better. When my friend came out of the restroom she told me a female security guard came in the restroom and told her she needed to go now and stood outside the stall waiting for her to finish. That was rude, uncalled for and disrespectful. Please note without the public spending money in these establishments, these places will get shut down and several people would find themselves looking for employment. The only saving grace for that place was the food was AMAZING! Hats off to the chef, I really truly enjoyed my meal. Thank you to the manager who comped our...

Every single table and there r very few, even very small ones you have to buy a bottle we got there around 730pm I'm not sure if the same goes for earlier in the day. We bought a hookah asked if a table was still reserved the guy told us not anymore because they left and about 20mins later we were kicked out of the table w nowhere to put our hookah and the lady just shrugged her shoulders like oh well not my problem yall spent money on it and have nowhere to smoke it. We just had to leave it and stand against a rail until we left. At this point yall just need to make the entire establishment a place where yall let it be known u have to reserve and buy a bottle to get in because making everyone stand especially ladies w heels on is ridiculous. *older review (2 yrs ago)Music, food and vibe was good! Customer service is horrible! It was me and a group of friends first time going to Sunday brunch here and its like you walk up and there is a side patio, there was absolutely no one to direct us to where we could sit or what was reserved we were just like ok well let's go in..SAME THING so we finally just grabbed a waitress and was like do we just pic any table or what so she took us to one and left without a word and so we went back inside to find out where we need to order food and drinks which happened to be at the bar inside and they give u a number. The girl taking the orders was a complete scatter brain she was on her phone ignoring us standing there and we had to ask her can we orderš Needless to say I've just never been anywhere where we had to work so hard to spend money..Thank God the food and music made up for this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVisited Bar 5015 this past Sunday to help celebrate my friendās birthday! This was only my second time at the new location and the first time I spent more than an hour.
My girlfriends and I arrived at around 11:30 am. We had just finished brunch at nearby Lucilleās. Due to the popularity of Bar 5015 and the limited parking, itās always best to arrive early. I parked on the street in front of the radio station as did my friends. There is a parking lot and 1 or 2 handicapped spaces, but we assumed it was for valet because we saw a valet stand. One of my friends parked in another lot behind 5015. She did not pay.
Since 5015 does not open until noon, we were allowed to sit on the patio until opening time. There was a slight confusion on opening time because on Yelp, there was a different time than several other places. It was no issue sitting on the patio as we found a shady spot.
Once noon hit, we proceeded inside and told the bartender we had a reservation. There was confusion at first, but our group was led to our reserved space which was nice. The reserved space was the large outdoor raised patio directly near the huge screen.
The bartender was friendly. The drinks were somewhat lacking, especially the mimosa tower. The tower tasted like straight up juice with no champagne and was not cheap! The one cocktail I did have, was average, but seemed overpriced. I did not order any food as I had just eaten brunch at Lucilleās.
Overall, 5015 is a vibe. I frequented the old place before it burnt down and the new place is an upgrade. Plenty of open and spacious patio room. Two bars. One inside and one outside. The bathroom is clean and modern. If you arrive early enough, you can snag a spot indoors, but the action is definitely...
