Saturday, April 13, 2024 a group of ladies 9-12 of us celebrate my best friend receiving her Masters Degree. The beginning was great, the food was amazing however it took a turn for the worst. Our server Adam seemed to become agitated about request and became short. During the payment period, one of the ladies ask for a receipt and his comment was, “you shorted me a $1.00”. This was extremely rude because we had all paid, maybe he should have told her and not been so rude about it. We ignore that. He then said several times that we had 20 minutes left. I didn’t understand that comment because I made reservations for 12 noon and I wasn’t aware there was an end time. He was agitated about that. We took a few more pictures and left. Since we were rushed out of the restaurant we forgot to take the graduates balloons. Once I realized a few hours later that the graduate had left them, i immediately called the restaurant to see if they kept them. To my surprise they claimed they threw them out. I spoke with the floor manager (name unknown) and she informed me that the server Adam said he never saw them. She informed me that the persons that cleaned the table must have thrown them out very unapologetic. I was very surprised at the non responsive attitude. It was to my surprise that she didn’t care. The conversation was giving, I don’t care about balloons. That was my perception and it was extremely disrespectful and disappointing. If something is left behind you should at least put it to the side until the end of business, whatever it is. This gives the person a chance to realize they left something and time to return to pick it up. This was a disappointing experience. Bayou City has been my restaurant for a long time and I have introduced several of my friends to it. Some of the ladies today were very thankful this is the spot we chose to celebrate but I must admit, this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. Bayou City Pasta and Seafood will not see me for a long time. I will not recommend it. The experience...
Read moreThe service was terrible to say it simply, and the food was blan and way to expensive to be so bad.. I'll elaborate on it shortly. For being in an upscale part of town you would think they would know how to speak to customers. Our waitress was definitely not schooled in mannerism. First she didn't introduce herself, but other than that It started off ok, until after we ordered our appetizers that she insisted us to do, the wife asked for a cup of gumbo and fried calamari, the calamari came surprisingly quick, but we were missing the gumbo, after waiting several minutes to be checked on, we asked about the gumbo, she started arguing with me and my wife saying we didn't order any gumbo, I think it would have been fine if she apologized for the mistake, but wanted to prove we didn't. Well it came and just the calamari surprisingly quick, she came back take our order and finished asking if we wanted some garlic bread, we replied sure sounds good. Food came quickly again and when she came we asked about the garlic bread we agreed to get. Not sure why she felt like we didn't want it but she bluntly told us it didn't come complimentary with the meal, ok so why offer it without saying that and the bigger point why not bring it after agreeing to getting after the initial offer. She was lucky to get a 5 dollar tip from 100 dollar meal. Now for the food, the calamari was over fried, the gumbo had no flavor, it looked and tasred like muddy water, the shrimp were obviously not cooked with it, I had the Montana that was supposed to have angel hair spaghetti and creamy sauce but came with regular spaghetti and the sauce looked like it was the water from the spaghetti and there wasn't any seasoning. Our meals literally tasted like...
Read moreIf I was able to provide a zero star rating, I would. One of the appetizers was not as hot as the other; however, I didn’t complain because I was more intrigued to receive my entree that I expected to come shortly after. Which never came after waiting 90+ mins. The server did not put in our order. The server proceeded to prance to our table and offer dessert as if we had already indulged in such entrees that we never received. The server stated he would go to the kitchen for an update all to come back and blame management for deleting our ticket which was not true. During our long wait, we had not seen the server but one time and that was after we placed the order. Ha. We were not offered refills during our wait. Appetizer plates sat on the table idle, waiting to be replaced by entrees. The server offered two complimentary deserts to make up for the going on two hrs wasted while AGAIN asking for our order which was STILL NEVER put in. We provided our orders and asked to have them packaged TO GO. Roughly about 35mins later, the server arrives with our meals bagged, which were not HOT immediately upon checking! He then had the audacity to provide me with a receipt worth well over $100. Stated the drinks and offered desert would be free. Spoke to management, received whole order free due to inconveniences. The next day after eating the food was horrible. All members of my party and I experienced non stop vomiting etc. even the children. We went to the emergency room and found out it was food poisoning. I would highly recommend eating at a 7Eleven on the side walk before considering this restaurant...
