I wish I could write something about the food here but unfortunately I never got the food I ordered. Just to give you guys a background of the story. I was in Houston and I could not eat the entire day due to some reason. Finally I decided to have dinner with a friend of mine and we went to this place since I had heard good things about it. We entered at 10 pm. No one told us where we could sit. We waited for some time finally I went to them at the counter and asked if we could sit somewhere. He told us they were busy to find a table for us and if we could find some empty space we could sit there. We sat outside in a clumsy place since I was very hungry and just wanted some food. No one came to even give the menu or take the order. I went inside again took the menu ordered food in the hope that atleast they'll bring the food. But I wasn't surprised we waited for 1.5 hrs for our food and did not receive it. I went inside just to ask if we could get the food we ordered a couple of times and saw people who came later having their food and just felt disappointed. Unfortunately we never received our food and had to leave. I understand restaurants can be busy at times and it is difficult to manage people but I also feel that's when you know if the place is good or bad by the way they treat the customers especially when they are busy. Having good food is one thing but just the lack of serving the food even after 1.5-2 hr is something I feel bad about. The team inside is really nice and they are very kind no complaints about that. But Imagine you are hungry since morning and go to a restaurant with the hope that you get to eat something, wait for 1.5 hr and still leave hungry. I never wrote such a long paragraph even for my girlfriend just imagine the level of disappointment. I hope the team considers my feedback and adds atleast one or two new members to work with them because as of now there are only 2 people running the entire restaurant including the bar and it's not their fault. Please don't let this happen with...
Read moreI have lived a long time in Houston and one thing I have missed is good Goan food. I was surprised to find this place on Google and decided to go ahead and try it. Some places serve Goan food but it's normally a hit or miss. I decided to just order the basics, a chicken xacuti, a fried pomfret, and a chicken biryani. We also ordered some Chinese triple rice with chicken. I picked up the order and realized one of my dishes was missing when I got home. On calling the restaurant they brought the missing item on my order to my house. The Goan Food here is amazing. I truly appreciated them coming to drop it off. That was one of the best services any restaurant has done for me. We were excited to try the food. As my wife opened the Xacuti container, she said she felt like she had just re-visited Goa in a moment. The Xacuti comes with white rice which is a perfect combo to taste and savour this delicious curry. I loved their Fried Pomfret as the Rechad masala was very tasty. I am excited to try their other fried fish. Their triple rice was also good. The chicken biryani was tasty but was a little spicy and next time I may order the mild version. Sadly no pics, but worth...
Read moreStarters were okay and we also ordered chicken and mutton biryani and they delivered it too spicy that even a spicy lover like me from south India can’t even handle it. when we asked for it, they said that’s what biryani comes with and they didn’t even tried to make it make it less spicy like they put too much gravy with less rice. Too much disappointment with food and there response when asked for it is not at all acceptable, cause food here costs more than a normal restaurants and we at least expect a good response from them. Overall we had a bad experience here. Not at all recommended, there are lot more restaurants other than this with good food and...
