Celebrity Cupcakes — Restaurant in Houston

Tldr: would recommend, clean, friendly, and offer many, gluten-free, as well as vegan options.

Firstly, customer service ~ It is top teir, the employees are always bright, and friendly, very informative on what cakes have what ingredients and witch don't, and know right off the top witch they have in stock and in what size, and even more so witch ones are vegan or gulten free.

Secondly, the food itself ~ the cup cakes are fantastic, all made with real ingredients, and have phenomenal taste. They offer two sizes of cup cakes, a large one, and a tiny ones,

also offer small personal pies, the key lime flavor is put of this world good, actually made with real key limes,

if y'all get a chance to get their rice crispy treats, it would be a dishonor not to try it. They are large and have a taste and texture unlike any other I've tried,

unlike many other places, they offer truly vegan cup cakes, which is great when buying cakes for work or partys so that you can be inclusive of all.

Thirdly, the cleanliness of this establishment ~ It is extraordinary, a great many places that deal with frosting and sprinkles have messy prep and cooking areas, however you can clearly see the cook and prep aeras from the order counter and they are spotless, really another testimony for the employees.

Forthly, the only consideration ~ It is price, while they do offer singles. the packs of 6 and 12 are a bit pricey, and this is going to get a pass for me due to two factors:

1. it's a small business with a local owner
2. Anything left over gets donated to local food banks

Fith and finally, parking, ~ The parking lot is tight, and there are few spaces, so if you have a large vehicle, there is a large shopping center across the street. I would recommend parking there and walking across (please look both ways)

I was picking up a food delivery at a nearby restaurant. I couldn't find parking cause parking in Rice Village generally sucks. So, I parked in Celebrity Cupcakes 10 min parking. I know that I'm not supposed to park there, so I know I'm at fault for that. I figured the delivery would be quick, so I'd be in and out. And, I was.

When I was returning with my food, one of the Celebrity Cupcake associates was standing in the driveway of the parking lot. She was staring at me from afar. She knew I was parked there. She was angry and I understand why she was angry but how she expressed it was over the top.

I was on the phone at the time and this is what she was saying to me: "You think its f-ing funny." I wasn't laughing or smiling but that's what she said. Then she said, "If I see your car here again, I'll slash your tires and break your windshield." I didn't say anything back because I didn't really know how to respond to that and I was on the phone.

So yea, I've been curious about Celebrity Cupcakes, but no need. There are other cupcake places that don't have...

I have been a customer since 2016 because the cupcakes are great and so are the keylime and banana pie. This past Friday I had such a disappointing experience with the person at the counter. We knew they were close to closing time but the open sign was still on so I didn't want to take time ordering. When I walked in, she was helping a couple so I took a photo of the mini cupcakes to send to my boyfriend so he could see what was left and I could quickly order when I was up. She saw me taking the photo and questioned why I was taking the photo and what surprised me the most was how rude she sounded and almost annoyed to help me.
