I asked for a burrito bowl. The rices looked shiny and greasy. I was givin a small amount of both beans and rice. The person who takes over my order from the beans and rice proceeds to get a heaping large spoonful of pico de gallo and immediately dumps it on the beans and rice. There was more pico than both combined. I then asked for WAY less of the green salsa. She gets a large spoonful, dumps it on the mostly pico de gallo, then goes fo another scoop of the green salsa.
I asked for light cheese, so of course she gets a big handful of cheese and throws it on. None of the ingredients are layered. They’re just in piles around the bowl. When requesting guacamole she puts a scoop on the very end of the bowl. I tell her “isn’t it supposed to be across the top of the bowl?” So she gets another scoop of guacamole and dumps it on the edge of the bowl next to the first scoop. She then picks up the bowl and shakes it around (which does nothing)instead of using a spoon to manipulate it.
I asked for lettuce and she literally sprinkles two shreds of lettuce in once corner of the bowl.
I love chipotle and eat it in every US city I travel to that has one. I’ve been waiting for a Chipotle to open near me for over a decade, but I’m going to have to continue driving 20+ minutes away when I want a bowl.
This is not the first time this person has done this. When she’s on the line there’s usually a line out the door.
Last night it took 25 minutes to get to the register. There were only 6 people ahead of me.
If this person doesn’t care about making the food, then she definitely doesn’t care about food safety.
The staff seemed indifferent and a guy pushing a broom slammed a tub of queso blanco on the a countertop loudly saying, “I’m not getting anymore cheese!”
I don’t know if the young woman with glasses who seemed to intentionally ignore customers’ requests as they moved down the line, should be moved to another position or not work at a Chipotle in any capacity.
I’ve been wanting a Chipotle in my area for so long, this is completely disgusting, disappointing, disrespectful and as good as food safety is concerned, a legitimate threat to public health.
In addition, I ate the awful food only because I was hungry and paid for it.
From last night to this afternoon, I’ve had indigestion and weird feelings in my stomach.
I don’t know if this is an issue with management, the people who do the hiring or the woman who “helped” me has a mental illness.
It’s unlikely I’ll ever go back to the brand new Chipotle down the street...

Title: $1,000-a-Month Customer Disrespected Over One Bowl — Unacceptable Service
My family and I eat Chipotle at least four times a week, every week. Our typical order includes:
• 3 bowls with meat, guac, chips, and drinks ($15.50 each)
• 1 kids quesadilla meal with sides and drink ($7.95)
• Sometimes an extra chips or queso (~$5)
We spend around $60–$65 per visit, which adds up to over $250 a week — more than $1,000 every single month at Chipotle.
That’s the kind of loyal, high-paying customer I am. So what happened last night was beyond disappointing.
On July 15th around 10:30 PM, I stopped by my usual Chipotle location, well ahead of the 11:00 PM closing time. As I walked in, an employee told me they were only accepting exact change because they were “closing soon.” I said that’s fine — I’d pay by card.
Then the cook behind the grill spoke up and said,
“The grill’s closed, bro. You might as well go somewhere else — we closed.”
I asked what time the grill closes. He said 10:00 PM. I responded, “But y’all close at 11:00, and it’s only 10:30.” I wasn’t asking for anything crazy — just a steak bowl, like I always order.
I asked for the manager, who came from the back. I calmly asked what time they close. She said, “11:00.” I then pointed out it was only 10:30 PM, and I just wanted one steak bowl. She asked the cook to turn the grill back on.
That’s when it got disrespectful.
The cook responded,
“Ain’t nobody finna tell me how to do my job. I’m closed. If he wants, he can see me outside.”
Instead of correcting the cook or making it right, the manager asked me to leave — as if I was in the wrong.
As a business owner myself, I know how critical customer service is — especially when you’re dealing with people who spend over $1,000 a month at your establishment. This wasn’t just bad service — it was hostile, disrespectful, and unprofessional.
If the store closes at 11, the kitchen should operate until then. Otherwise, just change the posted hours to 10:00 PM and stop misleading customers.
I hope this review reaches someone at Chipotle corporate who still values loyal customers — not another employee with the same “I don’t...
Read moreI was passing through Houston on a trip back home to Central Texas and stopped in for a meal to-go. First off the lady at the beginning of the line kept touching her hat with her gloved hands and continued to make food. Secondly, I ordered 3 tacos and asked for them to be put in a bowl once they were done so it would be easier for me to eat while on the road. The same lady TOLD me it’s easier for her to put them in foil and she told me I should just eat there. I let her know it was my choice to take the food to go as I had a 5-hour trip back home. She proceeded to make the tacos and then before putting any of the toppings on she closed the lid and TOLD me she was going to put my toppings on the side. Not only was this rude but it was not what I wanted. I’ve never been to a Chipotle with such horrible customer service in my life. The lady referred to me as “Bro” and TOLD me that I told her to put everything in the side which wasn’t true. She was so deep in carrying on a conversation with her coworker who was a guy with red hair and freckles, they kept using profanity and just weren’t listening. He then acted as if he was going to fix the situation and proceeded to put the toppings on the tacos (as I’ve always gotten at any other location) then he too decided that was too much work so he took it upon himself to go on and put the toppings in separate containers and told me I wouldn’t be charged. I just thought it was very rude and inconsiderate. Why would I want to ride in my car (passenger) and make my pre-made tacos. They never apologized nor asked to remake the food the right way.
If food service work is not for you then don’t accept the job. I worked food service before and always listened to every customer. This location seems like everyone is just there for a paycheck, they have no intentions on providing quality service. Even though I was taking my order to go, I still should have received proper service, after all dining out...
