Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Houston

I had a very unpleasant experience at this location. I saw online that there was a “30 piece party pack” so I asked for that when I got to the store. The woman assisting me informed me that this location did not have that deal but suggested what else I could get. When I got to the cashier, Genesis N, she was very unprofessional. Her demeanor was very cold, she acted as if she didn’t want to be there or had an issue with me, she even congregated with other employees to talk about me which was made very obvious as they all turned to stare directly at me. Genesis handed me my bag of food with a nasty attitude, I asked for hot sauce she looked at me with a blank stupid stare and did not say a word! So I said “is there hot sauce in the bag?” she rolled her eyes and said no as she took the bag back to put some in there, handed me the bag and slammed the drive thru window. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable! I am a customer that spends my hard earned money in an establishment where the bare minimum of respect should have been shown. Maybe fast food is not the place of employment for her however while she is there representing the company she can do...

Overall really good food, especially for the price. Where I'm from Church's Fried Chicken is only available in gas stations and convenience stores as a small heated display case that the employees cook up for you. This is full service restaurant with a large variety of food I got the bourbon black pepper Smokehouse chicken meal very small chicken (I don't think I've ever consumed the wings so small in my life, it looked like it was off of canary.) But the flavor was quite nice and for the price it was still worth it. I then got the southern fried steak it was exceptional for $7.99 for a meal including a drink Great Value good flavor came with an option of brown or white gravy I got the white gravy and it was good. Also got a few piece of fried chicken to try and the chicken was crispy and juicy if not a little bit on the boring Bland side I tried the spicy and the original. The spicy had a little bit better flavor, but it was very mild still. This location is terrible and the WORST church's I've been to on this side of town. The employee's are a bunch of Hispanics that hardly speak English. Whenever I come here it never fails, the workers are always in the back playing around the food,and while cooking the food. A few months back one of the employees got busted by a customer watching her from the car eating burger king licking her fingers and handling the food. When the customer confronted her she argued and yelled saying yes she is eating but is using sanitizer .girl BYE, the food is always a hit or miss mostly miss. Over cooked never seems fresh regardless what time I go, and the staff is just down right unprofessional and makes my nerves bad. Last time I asked for ranch and the guy replied"I don't know where it is I just started working here" like seriously?? And these people want more than minimum wage, yea go figures! I only stop here because its close to my work place but I prefer the church's on gessner near Bellaire, and the Westheimer near dairy Ashford get it together chimney rock location its not even funny...
