Let me start by saying, walking into a Crumbl Cookies location is like stepping into dessert heaven. The rich aroma of freshly baked cookies hits you, and immediately you’re overwhelmed with the desire to taste every single flavor on display. You’ve seen the TikToks – and I know I did – where people suggest you can sample or even touch these perfect creations before you buy. Let me stop you right there: those sample trays may look inviting, but don’t be fooled by the hype. While I’ve seen creators trying to grab one of those samples, the reality is much different. Crumbl isn’t set up for a “try-before-you-buy” situation, and the temptation to sneak a taste? Let’s just say it’s too strong to resist, but better to wait! Once you get over that slight disappointment of not being able to touch, the real magic begins – the cookies themselves. And the seasonal flavors they just rolled out? Absolutely next level. Crumbl has perfected the art of constantly introducing new cookies that keep you coming back for more. Their rotating menu ensures that every visit feels like a fresh experience. Now, let’s talk about those seasonal cookies. The fall-inspired flavors are ridiculously good. You get this perfect balance of warmth and sweetness that reminds you of cozy nights and the crisp chill of the season. Take their pumpkin spice cookie, for example – it’s a soft, rich cookie with just the right amount of spice. Paired with a cream cheese frosting, it’s practically autumn in a bite. Then there’s the cinnamon roll cookie, which is like biting into the fluffiest cinnamon roll you’ve ever had but in cookie form. It’s an experience that words can’t fully do justice to. The best part of Crumbl? Each cookie is oversized, meaning you can savor each one for longer – though let’s be real, you’ll probably finish it faster than you intend to because they’re just that good. Each flavor is like a new adventure, keeping your taste buds guessing and satisfied. So, even if you can’t snag a sample like TikTok may lead you to believe, the seasonal and rotating flavors are well worth the wait. Crumbl manages to keep things exciting while delivering on flavor and quality every single time. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves to indulge in gourmet cookies.

I ordered a 6 pack of cookies this past weekend at the location located at 2036 Westheimer and the store was a very dirty mess. All of the workers were completely dirty from head to toe. My order was placed thru the app and not ready for pick up. One young lady went to fix my order another young man came over to assist her. He had on gloves, begin to scratch his body and did not change them. He ran out of chocolate to put on the peanut butter snicker cookie so he went to get some. He came back with a scoop and plopped it all over the cookies making a mess. I asked were the cookies messed up because the young lady saw the way he was fixing them and asked what was he doing. So Darius the on duty supervisor yelled at the young lady and said, “let him do what he has to do!” Which was make a mess of my cookies. I was given my order with chocolate all over the other cookies. I asked if they could fix it or give me a discount. Darius came to the counter and said your only option is for me to fix those two cookies or give you a refund. I asked if they could give a discount and fix them over for the inconvenience. I placed my order, had to wait on them when I alerted them on the app, I had arrived, then the cookies were a mess. He was very rude and said, that’s your only option. I asked could the young lady remake them all and Darius said no. He said the young man can redo them and that’s final, or I’ll just give you your money back and refuse to service you. He made the young guy redo them. This was a very bad experience. Darius was upset because I was very vocal about how nasty that store was. I’m a reward member and this was my first and last time coming into this establishment with such unpleasant attitude and filt. To top this off, when I reached my destination 3 of the cookies were extremely hard to the point where they went in the trash. I should’ve accepted the refund and went to another location, but time was not on my side for me to reach my destination. I’m all for this kids having a job but someone needs to train the one running the store better. The worst location ever!!

I received half of my order last week from the Eldridge location. I paid for the delivery and everything. I called back and spoke with Seth, he was nice and let me know he couldn’t get me my order because they don’t have any drivers. He told me to call back and I would be able to get my order re made and delivered it I could pick it up and they would refund the delivery fee of $6.99. Then I received a voicemail from another member of the Eldridge team telling basically the same thing and letting me know that the manager at this location is also the manager of the River Oaks location and as the voicemail states she says I can choose to get it from there if that works better. Today I have exhausted almost an hour on the phone with both locations. I have been lied to by one of the managers of the River Oaks location I believe his name is Darrius. He told me on our 12 minute call this morning that they would get these delivered to me and I gave him my work address etc. Fast forward it is several hours later and I realize I never asked him what time they would be delivered and I leave work at 4. I called back and asked thinking it would be a simple straightforward answer but it was anything but. He put me on hold for 13 minutes and then either hung up on me or the call dropped. He never attempted to call me back once even though he had my number and all attempts I made were in vain. I decided to try to reach the actual manager who Darrius said was at the Eldridge location. A rude employee answered and said she was busy and then hung up on me at that location. All attempts to try and call back were also all in vain with no one answering the phone. I even waited for 13 minutes at one point to speak to someone, anyone, at the Eldridge location - no dice, just like River Oaks, they quit answering their phones. This by far is the worst customer service experience I have ever had.

This location is wildly inconsistent. All other locations within Texas and the US that we’ve visited have had very friendly and welcoming staff with well presented cookies and a bright, clean store.

This River Oaks location is closest to us and we’ve visited probably 12 times since they’ve opened. The first several times, the staff were welcoming and friendly and quick. The last several times, it has been different people working and they’ve been overwhelmed and/or incredibly slow (a large group of us waited over 30 minutes for whipped cream for our tres leches cakes) and appeared indifferent to their job - no acknowledgement of customers upon arrival, no eye contact. And very, very messy - both in the store in general and with the cookies. There was often spilled icing and broken cookie crumbs and boxes on the floor and overflowing trash cans. The cookies given to us were haphazardly decorated/put together. Our cookie boxes had icing on the exterior from dirty counters and hands. The boxes were closed so that it smooshed the cookies inside. The cookies were often undersized and not worth the price paid. We watched employees using the same pair of food safety gloves to open refrigerators, box cookies, open packages from the back, open whipping cream cartons from HEB, answer the store phone, and use personal cell phones. The store seemed dark and not bright and cheery.

For a while, we decided to stop having Crumbl as frequently and only got cookies when near other locations because this location was getting too frustrating. But after a while of not going, we gave it one more try recently and were pleasantly surprised - new employees who were welcoming, a neat and tidy store, and cookies that were well portioned and well presented. Hopefully it stays this way.

I’ve seen enthusiastic and individualized responses to positive reviews of this location, but negative reviews get a generic cut and paste reply. Hopefully the owners put more emphasis on correcting the issues that are identified in the negative reviews than they do on those replies so that this location can maintain the basic standards of cleanliness and good customer service and can continue to serve the delicious cookies to this...
