Kolache Factory — Restaurant in Houston

Can we have an honest conversation about how disgusting kolaches are? I am new to Houston. I lived pretty much everywhere and had never seen or heard of a Kolache. So I was excited about trying something new. Well today I broke my Kolache cherry and tried a kolache, it was absolutely disgusting. It literally tastes like a cheap dinner roll stuffed with unseasoned meat. I could not even finish eating the kolache after two bites. I literally threw it in the trash. Thank God Mcdonald's was up the street because that was the only way I could get the taste out of my mouth and not endure an empty stomach. If you close at 2pm, why don't you have even half of the menu and it isn't noon? I went Saturday and didn't get there early enough for what I wanted. I came back this morning, Tuesday at 6:25am, and they said it wasn't ready yet, give us 10 mins. I leave and come 10 mins later and they gave me the wrong kolache! I went back and the lady was soooo nonchalant and didn't seem to care on bit that she gave me the wrong kolache and I had to return to the store for a third time this morning. I was looking forward to kolache and coffee. The kolache was good enough though a little doughy. The coffee choices were vaguely described. Seemed like service person didn’t really know anything about the coffee choices. The coffee was advertised as fresh brewed and seemed so. However, in a place serving ideally fresh breakfast food, brewed coffee, coffee mate is totally unacceptable. Choice of half and half, cream, 100% milk or 2% milk is a must.
