We arrived about 30 minutes before closing, and unfortunately, they were out of almost everything needed to make drinks. I originally asked for a matcha, thinking it would be simple, but they only had 2% milk—no alternative options for those who are lactose intolerant. I went back in to try ordering something else, like a refresher or one of their Red Bull energy drinks, but they were also out of coconut milk and had no Red Bull in stock.
Communication was a bit difficult due to a language barrier, which on its own isn’t a problem, but it added to the overall frustration of being at the only open coffee shop with so little available. This was our first visit, and as a barista myself, I even asked if they simply didn't want to open ingredients that might’ve been stored in the back—but got no clear answer.
Since then, I’ve returned a few times and unfortunately had similar experiences. They are constantly out of key ingredients. On multiple visits, I’ve placed mobile orders only to find out they were out of almond milk and had to substitute with oat milk, which doesn’t sit well with my stomach. I’ve also had to swap cold foam for whipped cream. These aren’t one-off incidents—it’s a recurring issue, and there never seems to be a real apology from management, just vague excuses.
One employee even told me they had been waiting over a week for their milk delivery. If upper management is the reason for this ongoing inconsistency, they really need to step in—because it’s clear I’m not the only customer frustrated by this. Just look at the other reviews.
Update: Most recently, I placed another mobile order and was told after arriving that they were once again out of almond milk—something I had specifically selected in the app. I had to substitute it again with oat milk, which I don’t tolerate well. They were also out of cold foam, so I was given whipped cream instead. To top it off, I ordered an Oreo cookie through the app, only to be told they don’t even carry that item in-store and had to substitute it for a caramel crunch cookie. It’s incredibly frustrating that the mobile app lists items they don’t actually stock at this location. At this point, being out of essential items seems to be their standard operating procedure, not the exception. There’s no real accountability or customer service—just repeated letdowns. I hope corporate steps in soon and...
Read moreMy recent visit to our local Tim Hortons left me with mixed feelings. While the quality of their coffee continues to impress, I couldn't help but notice some shortcomings in the service provided by the youthful employees.
Let's start with the positives. Tim Hortons consistently delivers on the promise of exceptional coffee. Whether it's their classic brew or one of their specialty beverages, each cup is brewed to perfection, boasting rich flavor and invigorating aroma. It's no wonder that Tim Hortons has earned a reputation as a go-to destination for coffee aficionados.
However, my experience with the service was less than ideal. While the employees were friendly and eager to assist, it was evident that many of them lacked the experience and training needed to provide efficient and effective service. At times, the atmosphere felt more akin to a kindergarten classroom than a professional establishment, with staff members seeming uncertain and hesitant in their interactions with customers.
Despite their best intentions, the youthful employees struggled to handle the demands of a busy coffee shop. Orders were occasionally mixed up, and wait times were longer than expected due to inefficiencies at the counter. While these issues may be attributed to the learning curve associated with a young workforce, they nonetheless detracted from the overall customer experience.
That being said, I believe there is great potential for improvement at our local Tim Hortons. With proper training and guidance, the young employees have the opportunity to develop valuable skills and provide exceptional service to customers. By fostering a supportive environment that prioritizes both quality and efficiency, Tim Hortons can continue to uphold its reputation as a beloved coffee destination for years to come.
In conclusion, while the coffee at our local Tim Hortons remains top-notch, there is room for growth in terms of service quality. With a focus on training and development, I am hopeful that the youthful employees will rise to the challenge and deliver the outstanding service that customers expect...
Read moreIt was a mystical morning in Tim Horton Westheimer when me and my gang decided to get some timbits. As we were ordering, my gang said they aint got money. I decided to go on a rant on how they wear Nautica Voyage and they’re poor. One of the members of our group, my friend, said, “I ain't poor, I'm richer than you” and threw a gold brick at me and I passed out. As I awoke from my slumber, I realized he paid for it with the gold brick so I said, “Thanks lebron.”.
I had to use the bathroom so I rushed and started doing my business. As I was doing my business, I noticed I felt sick and threw up all of my timbits. The chemical reaction with the toilet water and the regurgitated timbits with a hint of fent caused a golden mystical plant bloom from the toilet. I pick it from the bowl and notice its pure gold. I start cheering and show it to my friends and explain the story to them. Obviously they don’t believe me and thought I planted it there but I proved them wrong. Well one thing leads to another and we all start fighting, Timbits flying through the air, Lattes spilling everywhere, it was udder chaos.
As my friend grabs it, he throws it at my other friend and causes him to pass out. One by one they start dropping like flies, James and I are the last ones left. I tackle him and he breaks through the ground, showing the pipes below are filled with molten gold. James and I start jumping with glee when my other other friend comes around and says, not so fast buster. I slowly negotiate with Reece and we end with all of us...
