Please take time to read this review before eating there. I've been eating here for almost a year now until last night I went there and had a bad experience. I came when it was slow with just one guy working there and I asked him for 2 lamb shanks he said he could only give me 1. I said okay thinking you can only take one at a time or something. After I ate them, I asked for one more and he said he couldn't because he already gave me an extra one. I was surprised. I argued back and forth letting him know that every single time I eat there I've never had a that problem and when I ask any employee for lamb shanks they would simply ask how many would I like. Anyway I sat down and he gave me one more and said "this is just to make you happy". I was still disappointed since I've been eating there for a long time and never had this issue nor is there a SIGN that says it is limited to one. I read another reviewer below saying one time the employee looked in his take out box and said its gonna be extra for the pies and he stated he never had that problem in 3 years eating there. This is the only Dimassi's location that has disappointed me. Other dimassis locations including the new one in Pearland have the lamb shanks under the OPEN buffet. I don't understand why this location on Kirby has to hide them in the kitchen away from the customers. I feel like the owners and the other Arabs working there excluding the girls that work at the front counter have a bad unfriendly attitude towards the customer. I also felt like I was being watched.
