I got severely sick from this place on May 4th: I've ordered from District 7 many times before. Each time being decent. This last time, however, will be just that, the last time. I'm not sure if they had an incompetent staff that day or just a negligent one, but either way I ordered the Turkey Meatloaf Lasagna on Monday, May 4th; on Tuesday, May 5th, 24 hrs after eating my lunch Monday, I came down extremely ill with food poisoning. I've never been so sick in my life! I had to leave work Tuesday afternoon & was not able to return the rest of the week. Sunday, May 10th (Mother's Day) & I was STILL suffering from eating their disgustingly, tainted food. I was not able to eat a after Tuesday afternoon (& I'm sad to think their garbage was the last thing I ate) & I became severely dehydrated & weak. I ended up in the hospital for a week due; my colon and intestines were inflamed and they found the bacteria campylobacteriosis in my stool. This bacteria has to, by state law, has to be reported to the state when found. From Tuesday, May 12th to Friday, May 15th I was hospitalized, put on an antibiotic that caused more pain and spent the past 2 months seeing a G.I. specialist because the inflammation continued on for a month after being released from the hospital. I've been on numerous medications because of this whole ordeal. I will be contacting the city and state regarding District 7- this could have killed me. I will NEVER eat from them again & I WILL NOT recommend anyone eating there. But if you do DO NOT EAT THEIR FUNKY TURKEY MEATLOAF LASAGNA OR THEIR TURKEY PERIOD...
Read moreDelectable. Excellent. Savory. That would be my colleagues and I experience with District 7 Grill in The Tunnel on Louisiana! Our table was reserved by our boss, service was warm and prompt! I was saying to myself the food fare must be good here, because it is crowded! I knew it to be true when I took my first bite of the Spinach Salad! The Honey Balsamic Dressing packed so much flavor and element! Kudos to whomever made it! I also ordered The Pappardelle...and I must tell you the Ginger Sauce was packing much flavor and detail as well...the clams, scallops, and shrimp played their part in the entree! There was a hint of heat which turned my meal into a Foodie's Heaven in The Tunnel... I recommend that you try one of their salads, if you do nothing else...or one of the Moofs! LOL! Plus for a sweet, amnesty treat..they serve free ice...
Read moreI've been meaning to try this place for a while, I pass it all the time on lunch time strolls. Today I finally decided to give it a try and am so happy I did. I had the Toga burger on a "Slow Dough" bun; it was topped with arugula, gorgonzola, and pesto. They cooked it to medium, as requested, and it was a juicy burger with just a bit of pink. I had a side of sweet potato fries, which were great. The price was pretty reasonable (~$15). The other items on the menu also looked good, I'll definitely be returning to try some of the...
