I was strolling through the park on my Saturday morning walk when I decided to explore a new route. I’m so glad I did! I stumbled upon Sunset Body Works Day Spa, conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from the Market Square Tower.
I called the spa’s number, and the owner, Jp, answered promptly. Jp is an absolute pro! I expressed my enthusiasm for massages and asked when I could bring my girlfriend in. He kindly scheduled an appointment for the following Saturday morning. Jp’s exceptional customer service truly left a lasting impression.
During my massage, Susana, my skilled therapist, used hot stones and employed top-notch techniques. I felt incredibly rejuvenated after the session. Chase, another talented therapist, worked wonders on my girlfriend’s lower back, which had been causing her pain. She reported significant improvement after the massage.
We couldn’t resist taking advantage of the Valentine’s Day special and thoroughly enjoyed our treatments.
With over 23 years of experience in the massage industry, I’ve had the pleasure of receiving massages at various spas. However, Sunset Body Works Day Spa stands out with its exceptional customer service, high-quality services, and overall exceptional experience.
Given its proximity to downtown, this spa will undoubtedly become my go-to destination for years to come. If you reside near the Market Square Tower or in downtown, I highly recommend booking a massage, facial, or any other service they offer.
Sunset Body Works Day Spa provides a wide range of services, and I’m already looking forward to returning soon.
Thank you, Jp and your dedicated staff, for making our experience...
Read moreJust had a bad experience in the salon. Paid 205USD for the soliel spa package.
The place looks a bit shady if you ask me. Cheap curtains, old sofa, blankets etc... Not what I expected for the price. It was not relaxing as there was outside music louder than the relaxing tune they put on on their phones and during the second treatment the ladies phone received a lot of messages.
The first hour I had the massage. I have to say it was really good and the gentleman did a great job. Thanks for that!
The second part was bad. The scrub was done by 2 ladies that worked completely different. Eventually they wrap you up only half scrubbed, just arms and legs, not even back.. and half rubbed in with oil, they forgot 1 leg and 1 arm!! The infrared blanket did not work and I waisted my time there. The facial, during being wrapped up was nothing special, she did not even put a good light on my dry face to see what she could do. Nothing a good scrub can't do at home.
Luckily they discounted me 45USD, so it came down to 205USD, but I think I should have paid only for the massage, the rest was amateuristic.
On the bright side, they seemed...
Read moreTony is the best masseuse that I've ever had! I was in Houston for business and after six 14 hour days on my feet on the GRB floor I was HURTING, and needed to be well enough to jump on a plane and do it all again. I had booked my massage with Sunset because they were conveniently located and had openings (hey, I'm not picky). Little did I know that I was about to have the best massage of MY LIFE.
I love massage, it's my once or twice a month treat-your-self and this really did. I did the 90 minute hot stone massage with Tony and I honestly cannnot say enough. The stones were the right temperature, he communicated well and got to the source(s) of my pain and discomfort. On top of that he used a nice smelling blend of essential oils with the massage oil, AND spent 15 minutes or so just stretching my poor aching limbs.
I cannot wait until I end up back in Houston again so that I...
