FD’s Famous Burgers & Chicago-Style Wings is a gem in Houston’s vibrant food scene. From the moment you step into their Broadway Street location, you’re welcomed with an atmosphere that feels both inviting and energetic. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a top-notch dining experience.
Their menu is a delightful showcase of bold flavors and creativity. The Brisket Daddy Burger, with its tender smoked brisket and signature FD sauce on a jalapeño cheddar bun, is an absolute must-try. Their Chicago-style wings are perfectly seasoned, with options ranging from classic buffalo to zesty garlic parmesan. The soul food plates, like the fried catfish and oxtails, paired with sides like golden cornbread and savory grits, are comforting and satisfying.
FD’s commitment to quality shines through in every bite. Whether you’re grabbing lunch, dinner, or catering for an event, this spot delivers incredible value and unforgettable flavors. A true Houston treasure!

Read moreThis place is one of those hidden food gems in the City, but once you have their burgers or their soul food (I can’t decide which I like more) you’re going to want to tell everyone.
I’m a BIG burger guy and it’s all about the buns for me. This place has daily fresh baked buns for their burgers and the difference is huge.
The Soul food is REAL soul food that never disappoints. Everyone raves about their Oxtails, but I’m stuck on their Fried Chicken. It’s seasoned to perfection and always juicy (I’m a chicken breast guy so this is particularly awesome).
Yes, it’s literally connected to a Church, but that just adds to the charm and might also account for the ever-present warm and smiling faces of the staff there. You feel like it’s more than just about good eats for these folks.
The prices are more than reasonable for the quality of the food you get. I have yet to feel like I didn’t get my money’s worth or leave without a full stomach!
I’m a fan of this place, for sure. Hope they expand to other locations...
Read moreLet me start with this place was kind of hard to find but once I seen it was connected to a church I just knew this food had to be good. They were renovating inside so it was too hot to sit but I still followed my gut and ordered to go. The lady who took my order was so sweet and raved about the food but here is where it gets good. I ordered the fried fish plate with yams, Mac and cheese and greens, & the fried chicken plate with sweet potato fries. When I got my food it was PIPING HOT! Smelled so good I couldn’t even wait to get home I had to try it. YALL THEY GOT SOMEBODY GRANNY IN THE BACK PUTTING HER FOOT AND ELBOWS IN THE FOOD CUZ IT WAS AMAZING! Food was so good I ate it in the truck. I ALWAYS need ketchup with my fried chicken but this chicken was so dang good I didn’t need nothing but that holy grail seasoning they put on it. Yams amazing, greens amazing, Mac and cheese great! Stumbled on this place by lick but it’s my new favorite and I will be taking my family back again...
