Gelato Constantino — Restaurant in Houston

Do not pass up this treat on wheels! Today, I tried Constantino's Artisan Gelato. I will admit, had my husband not first been introduced to Constantino's gelato at a previous social function, I would not have gambled paying for gelato from a trike set up at Hermann Park. I would not have believed it was made from scratch. Constantine's gelato is produced by him with both imported Italian ingredients and local sources. Ever since I visited Italy in 2008, I have searched for gelato here in the States that tastes as delicious, only to be disappointed time and time again. That I can find the authentic Italian taste, texture, and quality of gelato prepackaged at a Houston park is phenomenal. Constantine's father can smile down from his heavenly gelato pearly gates with beaming pride. His son is following in his father's footsteps and has brought a little taste of Italy right into Houston. My husband and I will be regular customers. I absolutely love gelato!  However, good gelato is hard to find, until I found Gelato Constantino.  His products are so good and remind me of gelato and sorbetto from Italy and Greece!  That is the reason why I used him for my daughter and son-in-law's baby bash event this month.  My guests were completely surprised and delighted by Gelato Constantino and even took some home! There is a wide variety of flavors, which are incredible, and it is obvious that Constantine takes pride in his work.  He was friendly, professional and an absolute delight to work with!  I also appreciated his assistant being so friendly and accommodating. Literally the best gelato I have ever had! This gelato is like nothing you ever have tried. You can tell they take their time picking the best products to make this. Gelato Constantino hosted my wedding as the after hours treat and people were OBSESSED! They still talk about it.
