Ordered a delivery order from this restaurant at 12:15 AM using their website and it was supposed to be delivered by 12:45 AM. I guess they go through door dash which I don’t have an account for and I did not receive my order. The update on the webpage just kept pushing my delivery time further and further. I tried to call the dasher with no answer several times. I also tried to call the restaurant but they refuse to take calls and just send you a text link to order when you attempt to call the restaurant. Which is extremely annoying when situations like this happen. How is anyone supposed to help me after I have been charged? After about an hour and twenty minutes I finally decide I have to head to the restaurant myself which is also extremely inconvenient being I was extremely tired after working a 24 hr shift. I get to the restaurant and the lady there was like oh yes I was wondering what happened as the order has just been sitting there for a while and no one picked it up. Well gee if the door dash that they go through didn’t pick up the order don’t you think it would be courteous to call the customer and tell them no one came to get their food and it’s sitting there cold? It was a $95 order mind you. So she tells me ok let me cancel the order (which is still pending on my bank statement and doesn’t show a refund yet) and you can pay in store so you don’t get charged the delivery fee. Which I guess was nice. She also offered a free boba for the inconvenience which was also nice of her but honestly all the food was cold and soggy and nasty by the time I got it home, so what should have happened was a refund for my inconvenience, instead I’ve been charged twice for cold soggy food that I had to go get myself at 1 AM. I understand it is not their fault that the dasher flaked and didn’t pick up my order but they could have handled it better by reaching out to me when I have no way of contacting them to get a status. They could have also offered to remake the food so I didn’t have to go home with cold soggy food but they didn’t do that either. The boba was a nice gesture but doesn’t compare to me having to go pick it up after a long shift of working in the ER. This was my first time getting food from here and the last because the food didn’t taste good at all by the time I got it home. The fish was extremely soggy as was the chicken. The noodles were congealed together into one block in the container because they were so cold. The beef was chewy and the general tso chicken was just meh and soggy too. Boba tasted watered down. I’m only giving two stars because the lady was nice and I understood it wasn’t her fault but they could have handled this situation better. Hopefully one charge at least is refunded on my bank statement because now I have two...

Amazing Late-Night Find! Tonight was a real treat! I stumbled upon this amazing restaurant. When I first saw the building, I was a little confused, but since it showed "open now," I decided to give it a try. It's tucked away on a pedestrian-friendly street, and I was greeted with a friendly welcome the moment I walked in. Late Night Eats has a clever concept: you can either eat in or take out, and you order using a QR code or directly at the counter by the front door. So even if you don't have a smartphone, you're still good to go! Just because it's a quick-service style doesn't mean you miss out on personal service – they still offer that thoughtful touch, which is great for a late-night spot. Now for the food... I ordered the kimchi and noodles with beef, and both were well above my expectations for late-night dining. A neat bonus is that even dine-in orders come in to-go containers, so there's no need to finish everything if it's late; it's easy to take with you. I can definitely see why this restaurant has such high ratings. You can truly feel the passion from what I assume are the two proprietors (based on the clear passion they exude). My understanding is it took me eight years to find this place, and what a treat it was! They deserve 5 stars for the food, service, and atmosphere. I'm already planning my next visit for the Beijing duck – it looks amazing! I will add photos on my next visit.

Follow-Up Visit: Even Better the Second Time!

I got to visit again—and not so late this time! Once again, the experience was amazing. I tried something new: the fresh spring rolls, which tasted like they were made in-house. Absolutely delicious! Of course, I had the same noodles as last time since they hit the spot perfectly. Still holding out for that duck! What really stood out was how welcoming the team was. It felt like visiting a good friend. I was pleasantly surprised to be remembered from my previous visit, but it seems that’s just how they treat everyone—very personable and attentive to all guests. I wish I could leave two reviews because this place truly deserves it. Oh, and by the way… you know who you are—thank you for helping me set up the Wi-Fi...

I've lived in Houston my entire life and I don't know how I only recently discovered this place. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in the Houston area. The prices are average for urban eateries which is astounding considering the service and quality. The best service I have ever received at any establishment hands down. The staff is incredibly friendly, caring, and attentive. I ordered curry with veggies and tofu but forgot to ask for it without any meat. The food quickly came out. My waitress immediately noticed it on my behalf, immediately offered to take it back, and was incredibly apologetic. She was more upset over a small error than I was. I ended up taking my leftovers home and one of the staff gave me a heaping helping of rice to take home with my leftovers. Servers regularly came by to refill water. They are conversational and friendly without imposing during the meal. It feels like you are eating at home with your family. The food is fresh, well-seasoned, and high quality. Veggies are bright, juicy, flavorful, and crunchy. Every element of your dish will be expertly done. My friend ordered a tofu dish and the fried tofu was perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside-even though the dish was well-sauced. The menu is extensive with traditional and modern dishes alike. I ordered a matcha tea with tapioca which was served in a practical, durable, reusable to-go cup. The tea was floral, earthy, and fragrant with perfect flavor. A fantastic establishment in...
