I can't even rate the food because I just spent the last 30 minutes cleaning it off my garage floor.
We waited 30 minutes for our order and the moment we got home, the bottom of the paper bag fell out. Food and sauce was all over my garage. I immediately called Hibachi Bros to explain what happened. I was told by the gentleman he would call me back. 25 min later I received a call asking if I was on my way back up. He never told me to head back to the food truck park so the question didn't make any sense. I explained to him that I didn't live near the park and it was almost midnight. At this point, I am annoyed with the cleanup and the line of questions. I ask for a refund and am told he would have to call me back. Shortly after, he calls me back and tells me his manager has refused a refund. I'm completely flabbergasted. I just swept $90 of food up and I can't get a refund?! I was told I can receive a credit. However, after the lack of customer service and compassion, a credit is not going to remedy this situation.
I try my best to support local Black businesses. However, horrible customer service will never get my support. The gentleman even had the audacity to ask for a good review. You've got to be kidding me...
So now I get to spend more money because my teenager is still hungry. Thanks Hibachi Bros! I just love...

Once I placed the order I get a confirmation saying they will text me. , when ready, 2 minutes later I get a text saying in my order been canceled because no one can filled the order, and that my money would be back on my card in 3days‼️Mind you I’m driving from Katy Tx to food truck which is in 3rd Ward on Almeda.. so I get there , of course they wasn’t open, but there were cooks inside the truck so I spoke with one the employees he informed me they wasnt opening til 8pm. So I how door I get a refund he said they don’t have anything to do with DoorDash😳 so I told him I will be back at 8pm cause I really want my food , the food so dang good. So fast forward it’s 8;20 now Um back at the truck. The same guy I spoke with earlier told me that they still want be ope til probably 9pm. He said I seen your order, but we couldn’t filled it cause we got to get the catering order out and delivered so we want open til 9/930. So you charge take orders on line just swipe my card and canceled my order me, then tell me my money want go back to my card til 3days. Read moreI drove from almost an hour away and arrived at 11:46 just as a customer was being served so after he walked away I went up to the window to order only to be told "We're closed" , I looked at my phone (11:48) then he started joking about my bag so I figured he was joking & asked was he for real & he responded "We ain got Nothing for you". Unprofessional & very inconvenient. I even told them how I struggled to make it before closing & even how my friend warned me not go from their experiences but I keep rocking with them. There's was no apology, sorry for the inconvenience, please come see us again, nothing but dry attitudes. I see from the reviews I'm not the only person that has been affected by the early closing or opening/closing whenever schedule.
