Let me say I was very disappointed. I spent $20 on a Lemon Buffalo Platter, which included boneless wings, shrimp and traditional wings. The food tasted horrible as if the wings and shrimp were fried in old grease. The food tasted old and (recycled) I pray not🤦🏽♀️ . Now to be fair I’ve eaten at the Willowbrook location before and the food is usually great so Against my better judgment, I decided to reach out to a manager. I explained to the manager, I didn’t want my money back or a comp meal as I didn’t want the restaurant to feel as if I was looking for a (free meal). I really wanted her to know, ma’am it’s not about the money but the food was really bad. The Manager, whom was very pleasant listened and apologized for the experience and offered a comp meal anyway. I accepted. And (2) days later I ordered (24) Buffalo Shrimp . I picked up my meal after work and was ready to dig in😋. I opened the box and tasted a soggy bread shrimp. Yuck!! The shrimp were drenched in buffalo sauce, not breaded properly and the food was just SLOPPY with a Capital “S”. The shrimp were MUSHY, not Crispy at all and one could tell that this order was not right. I simply sighed 🤦🏽♀️ . Had this been retaliation for putting in a complaint? Was I being punked? I mean are they for real? I just threw my hands up🤷🏽♀️ in surrender. Hooters you win. I have wiped this restaurant completely off my radar. The food was and is a no go for me. And to the owner who will reply to this message. I don’t need anything comp or my money back, simply get your cooks together. It’s not fair for hardworking customers to spend their money at your restaurant and receive mediocre meals. It’s a disservice for the customers now and...
Read moreThe food is great. I have no complaints there! My husband & I went 2 weeks ago & and they were out of their funnel fries dessert. My husband, daughter & I went this weekend & service was not the best. I ordered an old fashioned & waited & waited & finally my waitress told me they were out of the bitters so I couldn't have one. No problem, just maybe let me know sooner instead of almost finishing my meal before I was told. Then, we ordered the funnel fries. Our waitress recommended the Raspberry sauce. Again, we waited & waited. She brought us our ticket & they funnel fries were not on the bill so she completely forgot about them. We paid and left.
Just left this same location. There were 4 of us.
#1. 1 of us ordered 10 wings & got 8 #2. An order of wings came out dry without the sauce that was requested #3. Another order of boneless wings had barely any sauce compared to what is usually on the wings #4. We ordered 2 orders of fries and got 1. #5. Our drinks were never refilled #6. I ordered wings and onion rings to go . They brought the to go order and took another 20 minutes to bring our check. #7. The wings in the to-go order were overcooked and inedible. The onion rings were cold.
The restaurant was not crowded. The manager did adjust the bill for the 8 wings and gave the non sauced ones a discount, but it didn't make up for the inexcusable time it took for everything or the cold and inedible food.
Not sure we...
Read moreNot all Hooters are the same, and not every experience at the same location will be the same. That being said, this location is one of the few in the area that still operates as it should. Let me explain the pros. The wait staff is on top of their game. They are very attentive and float around their area, so you never have to try very hard to flag one down. The location comes across as pretty clean. Even the restrooms are well maintained. The food comes out quickly and the mixed drinks are fairly stiff. And before you ask, yes the waitresses are attractive. You actually notice this kind of thing, cause at some locations, it felt like all the attractive employees jumped ship to twin peaks or bombshells. Now the cons. The food is pretty meh. It's the same simple dishes that they have been serving for years. There's nothing really all that wrong with that, but when compared to the more complex menus at similar establishments, you really notice the difference. Also, the vibe feels a lot less like a sports bar and more like a regular restaurant. All the televisions have the volume turned way down, so it's missing the semi loud music or game soundtrack you would find at a similar establishment. The one other con I noticed was that the floor was a little slippery in one area. Other than that, this is still a great Hooters location, and a place I will definitely be coming back to when I need my...
