I have been visiting this location for the last 4 year's off and on. I always get the unlimited salad bar when I come in. Last week I came in around 8:30pm with my husband. I just got home from work, my husband came along but had already eaten at home. I went in ordered 2 drinks and salad bar for myself. The Hispanic staff at register was so friendly. The gentleman who gave me my tray with my salad bowl and silverware very friendly also. After I finished my salad I went back to ask for a clean bowl for a 2nd round. The Hispanic gentlemen behind the counter went to get one, from behind I hear a loud woman's voice asking what I needed. A Caucasian younger woman, I'm guessing a manager. She interrupted the man and asked what I needed, I said new plate for salad bar. She started asking me all these questions. Did I get unlimited salad bar etc. Then she was asked where I was sitting so she could pick up my dirty stuff which I found strange, especially when another employee was cleaning up tables as we sat and at that time. With her behavior and insisting on picking up my stuff I concluded that she was trying to see if I was lying or if my husband had been eating etc. Which he had not b/c he hates veggies and 2nd he was full from eating at home. When we were leaving I walked past her and she was standing by a black younger employee filling bags laid out I guess for catering? She looked up in my face did not say a word, just stared at me the whole time, I was waiting on my husband to come out of the restroom, the younger black employee said "thank you ma'am!" I owned a business for 8 year's and never assumed things about ppl. I guess you have to look a certain way to her or she acts like you are a criminal. She better get it together b/c that is discrimination and I didn't appreciate it! She will do this to the wrong person one day. The other staff was great, the Caucasian young...
Read moreMy first time ever in Jason’s Deli, I thought it was just a sandwich place. Well tonight my wife was HANGRY, and so was our little boy. (1 year old) so if you’ve ever been in this situation you know I had to figure something out quick! Well I looked over my shoulder and saw a Jasons Deli sign peeking at me. So I said let’s roll the dice, worse case scenario they’ll get a sandwich until we get home. To my complete surprise the menu was HUGE! With an array of items. I was looking at the menu on the wall and a guy came from the back and said “I’ll take care of you over here”. So I told him “I need to check out the menu I’ve never been here before”. Not only did he say hey Man, I have a smaller menu hand size right here and handed it to me. But also threw me some great recommendations. I took the menu out so my wife could pick exactly what she wanted and I didn’t have to hear about it for two days that I picked something she didn’t like. lol. When I came back inside, I told him that my wife and son were out in the car, so when he brought me my order, he said most people who usually get ice cream when they’re inside eating, but since y’all are on the road, here’s a couple cookies. And handed me the huge bag of hot food. Then said “Come back and see us.” Amazing service. Amazing management. And I can’t wait to go back to Jason’s deli and see Justin because the dude made my day a whole lot brighter. If more people in the world were like you, bro the world would be an amazing place.

Read moreI almost stop giving Jason Deli my service due to one rotten apple. Mind you I order from Jason Deli on Westhiemer and Kirkwood in Houston Tx at least once a week. Well on said day myself and my three kids walk in. The manger a Hispanic lady had a very nasty attitude. Me I’m all smiles ready order. The manger the Hispanic lady ask what do I want. First of Lady where is greeting second are you going to ask me to scan my app or ask if I’m a rewards member or ask would for my phone number. She sighed as if I was bothering her. Ma’am I would hate to be a secret shopper because this is an epic fail. Meanwhile I’m aggravated I go ahead and order 3 kids meals Mac and cheese. The Hispanic lady just assumed my kids want apple juice. No ma’am may I have two chocolate milks and a cup for lemonade. Yet again she acted annoyed by presence. Given my babies where with me and hungry I proceeded to pay our food (I got a sandwich). At this point food is paid for twenty minutes pass. I approach the register and ask was everything ok. She said we have lots of orders walks away and not say anything I wait another 10 minutes and I ask for a refund because at this point I’m irritated and my kids are crying. Upon asking for the refund she rushes the order out. I was so outraged because this particular Jason deli has always been timely, polite and most of all kid friendly. This visit was one from hell. It was a Wednesday I I avoid Jason on Wednesday...
