Today I stopped in this location (11120 Northwest Freeway, Houston, TX 77092) to place an order to go. I walked to the cashier and decided I had enough. I absolutely refused to give my hard earned money to a person who seemed as if my entering this restaurant inconvenienced her. How dare I walk into this restaurant and tell her I wanted to place an order to go? I have noticed for some time now this is exactly how the employees in this restaurant greet customers, as if the customers enter this restaurant to bother the employees by placing orders. I find this to be incredible. Does anyone at the corporate headquarters of Jason's Deli understand consumers have options? Does anyone at the corporate headquarters understand employees such as these are the reason other restaurants nearby have more customers? I absolutely refused to place my order with "hillary" today, I told her someone else needed to take my order. I refused to give my hard earned money to someone with such a poor attitude. I am a Rewards member, this can be changed. Does anyone at the corporate office bother to review the cameras to see what actually happens inside the restaurants? Ten minutes reviewing how the employees interact with customers as they enter this location would fully explain why this particular location is almost empty each time I stop here. The employees at this location are absolutely horrible. This particular cashier (hillary) should be in the back washing dishes or in the parking lot picking up trash, away from the general public. Its very sad because I've noticed some of the supposed managers have this same attitude (not all). This is...
Read moreI frequented this location between 2017 and 2019 before the pandemic and always had great experiences. I went back today and I'm still happy with the experience! Sandwiches have exactly what the ingredients are, fresh and plentiful with just the right amount of "heat" when toasted. I always get their tomatoe basil soup and although soups like this can be overly acidic, I, personally, have never had issues with that here. I love their chocolate and oatmeal cookies...sometimes, not always, they can be overcooked on the bottom. Despite that, when they are cooked correctly, their cookies are thick with just the right amount of "chewy" and plentiful chocolate chips or cranberries/walnuts. I like their hibiscus tea drink, not too sugary and a great alternative to soda. Large seating area inside with a patio area outside, about 6 to 7 seven tables outside. They are located in a business district so lunch time can be CRAZY. I would order ahead and pick it up at the counter, fast, when I worked on the area. After 230pm seems to be less hectic, inside, but definitely still have a line outside in drive-thru... so again, I'd use the app during their most popular times. It's a great location, with great consistency overall, ...
Read moreMy SLANT on this Jason's Deli. I ordered a Rueben Sandwich which is "advertised" as coming with Russian Dressing. You've heard of Russian Dressing right? Everyone has except the manager of this Jason's. They brought a sandwich with Thousand Island dressing. When I advised him of the mistake, he told me, "Thousand Island dressing is their SLANT on Russian dressing". Slant????? In the course of our 'discussion' he told me that me about their SLNAT on Russian dressing at least four times. It was though i was finally going to realize that thousand Island dressing is actually okay on a sandwich that is supposed to have Russian dressing. Despite his 16 years as manager at this site (talk about stuck in a job!) I advised him to go to any grocery store and look for RUSSIAN DRESSING! Recommendation: If you want a Rueben with Russian Dressing, go to the Jason's in Sugarland. This manager is clueless and his attempt to buy my silence with tgwo cookies...
