Kokee Tea — Restaurant in Houston

The boba tea here is NOT good. I paid for 4 drinks, 3 milk teas with boba and 1 regular warm tea with no sweetener. All four drinks were overpowering with sweetness. The flavors seemed nice (which is the only reason I rated 2 stars) but it was very hard to actually taste them with the amount of sugar loaded in these drinks. Even the one I asked to be unsweetened was VERY sweet. I paid $22 for 4 drinks that were undrinkable. I'm very disappointed. Don't waste your time...

I ordered tea, specifically repeated 3 times that they not add ice because I was sick. In the end, I got a drink with ice, when I asked to remove it, they simply removed it with a spoon and hands, who likes that someone "washed" their hands in tea? I usually enjoy Kokee Tea, but I was really disappointed this time. I ordered the Sunset Blvd expecting it to look like the beautiful, layered drink shown in their photos—but what I got looked nothing like that.
