I have waited to write this review for many reasons. Here goes. I walked in with my husband with the intention of only showing him all the pretty rings. Then we met Carlos. He charmed my husband (thank you Carlos). My husband was sold on making my dreams of purchasing me a new wedding ring. We had just celebrated our 23rd anniversary and we got married young so he couldn’t buy me a Ring himself. So this was extra meaningful to me. So much so that Carlos had to hand me a tissue as we looked for the perfect ring. Carlos was very considerate to our budget and felt it was important to include his partner Stephanie. I had a team!! They made my experience magical. Stephanie guided me through the process of picking the perfect stone. She placed an order for four diamonds that I would later come back and choose the perfect fit for ME. I had no idea how this process was going to go. Oh how amazing it was. When I came back to pick my Diamond I was taken to a room where Carlos explained the ins and outs of a Diamond. I never knew this was a thing. We had a light show with each Diamond. I feel in love and picked my perfect Diamond. Carlos advised me that the jewelry would work on it and then they would contact me when it was ready. He asked me if we had a time frame and we said no. We wanted it perfect. So we set a date. The day before the date Stephanie reached out and ASKED if the jewelry could have a couple of more days as he needed to upgrade the head. I told her that would be okay but by now the anticipation has sat in. She and I cracked a couple of Diamond jokes and I waited. The day arrived and I wanted to double check that I was good to pick up my ring. I messaged Stephanie on her personal phone, of course apologizing for doing so but I was excited. She advised me she was off but she would check. I told her no and she had be amazing so I’ll just call. Well I got sad news that the jeweler was still working on it and it would be ready the next day. My heart sank. What can you do? So I waited. 20 minutes later Stephanie texted and said it was ready. Ahhh!!!! What a team I had working for me!!! We went up there and Carlos greeted us with a huge smile. It was time. I love it! It’s beautiful. My husband is the best for in trusting Helzberg, Carlos, Stephanie and the jeweler with such a great gesture of love....

From the beginning, Reyna has been hands down a wonderful person to do business. She is compassionate and patient. This lady knows her jewelry and believe me it’s impressive. She knows about all the cuts and clarity and just about anything you want to know about diamonds. A lot of other stores do not take the time to educate you on your investment and everyone at Helzberg knows their trade. They know it’s an investment so that’s why they understand that it takes time and research to make sure you buy something you’re going to love.
They have options for everyone’s financial status and no gimmicks, just honest ways to get you the piece of jewelry you so desire. When I make a payment I feel at ease and happy because I feel welcome. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve walked into a jewelry store to just wait and maybe never even be noticed.
It’s not the case at Helzberg Diamonds. I get treated like family. I chose to place my pieces on layaway and when I go there, either Carlos or Luis are more than happy to let me try it on. Carlos and Luis always give me a warm invitation and so nice to chat with. I just got one of my pieces out of layaway today and absolutely love it!

Read moreUnfortunately, I am not able to give a full customer experience review as the salespeople were too busy joking around with each other to help my boyfriend and I on a Sunday evening.
I usually give the benefit of the doubt, but it was very obvious they were not just talking while performing other tasks. They were not doing anything. We did come in about 15-20 minutes before closing after helping nearby family prepare for construction at their home. Admittedly, we did not look like we would be spending $8k-$10k on a ring in the next couple of months, but any good salesperson knows to never judge a book by its cover. Even though we came in very close to closing, we only needed my ring size and a general idea of what I liked so my boyfriend could pick something out at a later date.
As we were actively looking at the engagement ring displays, I noticed that although the salespeople had down time, we had not been greeted and they were, in fact, actively looking at us while talking to each other. So we were intentionally being ignored. Upon noticing this, I told my boyfriend and we left.
We went to 2 other jewelry stores in the mall before 6pm and were immediately greeted and helped. We left the mall by 6:05pm to be as respectful of closing time as possible.
Do yourself a favor and make your entire engagement experience enjoyable by visiting other ring stores that care (or pretend to care) about their customers more than the Helzberg...
