La Palapa — Restaurant in Houston

So I used to come here all the time, litterally every day for either breakfast tacos (SUPER TACO) or lunch (ENCHILADAS, COMBO PLATE, OR THEIR SUPER SIZED CHALUPAS). But sometimes I have been known to come here for both on the same day, its that good. I've missed this place over the years and have tried to post the most current menu that they have, because this place is a true hidden gem in downtown Houston. The prices are more than reasonable, nay just dirt cheap. The quality and freshness is excellent, always being very fresh with large portions. The Chalupas are as big as your head! Everything has really good flavor. It's amazing what they are able to push out of such a small kitchen. Their delivery service is fairly quick to the courthouse and other locations in the area. But why wouldn't you just walk down to get a genuinely pleasant smile. If you go often enough, she will know exactly what you want, before you get to the window. Is it the fanciest food? Obviously not. Are you still getting good food for a great price? Absolutely yes—especially considering it’s central downtown location. Whether it’s a quick bite to eat or a specific (probably unhealthy) craving, La Palapa is there for you. The staff and lady in the front always remember regulars and their orders. In all honesty, I was pretty hesitant to come here because of the pictures. However I gave this place a try and trust me it looks just the way it does in pictures. The food here is AMAZINGGGGGGG.
