My boyfriend and I came here yesterday for lunch around 1pm. This was our first time to this location, not sure if it's related to the Austin one?

The restaurant wasn't that busy, and we get to seat ourselves. I chose to sit in the center with a big table because I loved the green wall that said Southern Hospitality. I drawings around the bathroom entrance was cute too! The space was very open and the temperature outside was great.

We sat down, and was greeted by a server immediately. She gave us the menu and asked what we'd like to drink. After browsing their 11am-3pm menu, there were quite a selection! The prices for some items were (in my mind) expensive. Our server came back around 5 minutes later with our water and asked if we were ready to order. I ordered the chicken and waffles $14, and my boyfriend ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side salad. I also ordered a fresh fruit cobbler $6. Our food came out about 15-20 minutes later, which was pretty fast in my opinion.

I was AMAZED with the portion size!! Our orders were HUGE!! So I guess it makes up the price that you're paying for.

Chicken and waffles: 4/5. I think the chicken could use some more saltiness. It was a little bland beside the sweetness from the Raspberry drizzle. The waffles were amazing though :)

Apple Cobbler: 5/5! I LOVED it! Or maybe I just love anything Cobbler...hah. The sweetness of the ice cream, the sourness of cinnamon apple, and the bit salty pie crust... Awesome!! We couldn't finish it because that was HUGE also!

Overall, I'd return. Service was great, the food was good! Thanks for the...

Lively and almost full with Sports Fan on a busy Friday Game Night. It took awhile before our Waiter arrived, as people were coming and going. It was hard to tell what was going on. If you're not in a hurry, take your time in ordering between Appetizers, Meals and Desert. Otherwise, you'll find your table extremely crowded with plates of food, all getting cold. The Crab & Crawfish Cake was delicious. I was a bit surprised that their Coleslaw was mixed in with the Crab & Crawfish Cake. The Slaw was a 50/50 mixed review amongst my table. The Sauce was well received, however the Cherry Tomatoes were old. No firmness what-so-ever. Just turned to mush in your mouth. The Kountry Kobb Salad was a Winner and Highly Recommend! That we all agreed on. As for the Happy Hour Menu items, the Brisket Sliders were also a 50/50 hit. Most didn't like the Slaw being grilled. As for the Beer Batter Fried Jumbo Mushrooms with Siracha Ranch Dressing... Don't bother! At first we weren't sure as to what they were. After cutting one in half, we were surprised of their size. Unfortunately, No One at my table liked them. The Siracha Ranch Dressing was excellent. However, no amount of that Dressing could save those Mushrooms. As they were all Soggy and very Oily. No crunch, again... what-so-ever. Finally, we have the Vanilla Butter Cake. Butter Cake may not sound good, but all of us who tried it, Loved it. So make sure you try the Vanilla Butter Cake, before they change up the Menu. Each time we come in, which isn't to often, they either add, remove, or change up the items...

Terrible service! 2nd time. Waited about 20 minutes after arriving and never acknowledged by anyone even though they walked by me as i was cleaning off a table to sit at so asked the thin waitress with glasses if anyone was working that area. She said IDK, turned and walked away so I had to look for a waiter who took my order and never came back. Sometime later another waiter showed to ask me how I was doing but didn't have food I ordered earlier. About 45 minutes after arriving there I got food not prepared as ordered. I didn't get silverware or condiments until after food was brought. About 25 minutes later another waiter comes to ask me if I needed anything 😆. Burger ended up cold and uneaten. This place is crazy and as a city Ambassador I regret I sent so many ppl here for this experience. Previous visit was not as bad but definitely nothing to Bragg about. A person working behind the bar followed a customer outside to fight him after he left his opinion about the service there. The disgruntled customer was gone and no threat to anyone, but the employee still followed him outside for a fight on the sidewalk. Very unprofessional, Staff and manager here needs retraining. Spent almost 2hrs there and left hungry after spending $43. I hope the waiter was able to get the gratuity from the people who he brought food/drinks to before me even though they arrived 40 minutes after i was there. AFWUL SERVICE or discrimination. Not sure which one.
