My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Becca Cakes for our June 2024 wedding in Houston, Texas. Becca Cakes provided our Groom’s Cake and a beautifully constructed faux wedding cake, both of which were incredible.

From the moment we inquired with Becca Cakes, we were impressed by how polished, communicative, and professional Becca’s team was. We quickly received a pricing estimate and scheduled a cake tasting.

We worked closely with Becca to design my husband’s Groom’s Cake, a large replica of his Texas A&M University Aggie Ring. The Aggie Ring has very intricate details, and Becca was incredibly thoughtful about capturing those details accurately and beautifully. Additionally, we wanted to create the look of a large, multi-tiered wedding cake, and Becca worked with us to design a stunning faux wedding cake that exceeded our expectations!

The cake tasting itself was a wonderful experience! Every cake we tasted was so delicious that it was hard to decide on a flavor. While at the tasting in Becca’s beautiful shop, we finalized our cake designs with her, leaving with a sketch of each cake design. This put us at ease, knowing that Becca shared our vision and would bring it to life, perfectly.

Becca and her team worked with our wedding coordinator to ensure everything went smoothly. Our guests were blown away by the cakes, which created the visual statement we wanted and tasted amazing.

I am so excited that Becca Cakes has a storefront now! I've been fortunate enough to sample her desserts at various events over the years, but now we can finally purchase them on a whim.

The new space is absolutely gorgeous. Her custom wallpaper is stunning and it's such a bright and cheerful space. All her baked goods are beautiful and she also sells candles, party plates, napkins, and fun cake toppers. If you're heading to a party or need to grab something for a special day, it's kind of a one stop shop for your dessert needs.

I ordered a half dozen cupcakes: 2 carrot cake, 2 classic white, and 2 strawberries and cream. They were all moist, fluffy, light, and the flavors were spot on. The cake flavors change often, so it's best to check their website before you go to see what they're featuring on the day of. I'm looking forward to trying the macarons next time! She also offers full sized cakes, which you can pre-order too.

And this is a small detail, but I really appreciated it: her cupcakes boxes actually hold the cupcakes in place. I know that sounds really trivial, but I've definitely been to other bakeries where my cupcakes were falling over or fell out of their holders on the drive home or were put into the box haphazardly. It's always disappointing to arrive to a party with a gift of damaged baked goods. Becca and her team are some of the kindest and most hard working people you will ever meet. I have been in the wedding and event industry for years and could only trust Becca with my wedding cake. Not only because the work she does is BEAUTIFUL, and she is a delight, but her desserts are some of the only ones I enjoy! All of her flavors are made with real, quality ingredients and nothing is too sweet. Flavor is a huge deal to me because most “pretty” desserts are sickly sweet and hard to eat so they end up going to waste when no one eats them (no matter how pretty they are). Becca’s desserts get devoured at every event I have them! Whatever your theme or idea, Becca and her team will find a creative and beautiful way to bring your vision to life. I have never tried a dessert that I didn’t LOVE, and I have tried almost everything! Whether it’s your wedding cake, desserts for a baby shower, or just stopping at her bakery for a sweet treat- you will love working with Becca! I cannot recommend her enough.
