Little Sister — Restaurant in Houston

Was finally able to go in after the rebranding and expansion. Got to take advantage of the teacher deal of saving 15% by showing my school ID so that was a little bonus. I expected the light airy and open feel I got as soon as I walked in. It's very welcoming and while there, there were four tables filled with mom's/their kids, a couple, and someone by themselves. So you'll get a variety of people in. I would say it could get loud pretty quick though so possibly not the spot to study/work at when there's a lot of patrons. As for their selection in treats it's expanded to include daily cakes being offered, a slice of cake when available, pastries and a large selection of drinks for adults and even a kids section. I ended up getting a strawberry and creme croissant that I greatly anticipated on trying as if you're like me you know they serve awesome cupcakes that have just the right amount of sweetness unlike your usual offering of cupcakes at other places. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint it was the right amount of filing with the right amount of fluffy sweetness. The strawberry slices were a beautiful red, plump and on the thicker end of a slice which I enjoyed. I can't wait to go through their menu offerings one by one. Go try it out...

Came in excited because it looked so cute on the inside but immediately felt unwelcomed, the girl that was taking our order had the biggest frown on her face the whole time and when we asked her questions seemed so bothered, not only that but the raspberry cinnamon roll was alright and it appeared that she gave me the smallest crumpled up piece with the least amount of frosting because it looked like there was a new batch and all the other ones look super big and covered in icing and my mother got a slice of cake that tasted like old fondant and like if bacon fat was hardened and strawberry flavored, I really wanted to like it but it was a waste of money and maybe other desert choices are better but the ones we got were very disappointing and...

I must say that I really love this place. They have the most absolute best cakes I've tasted in awhile. We made our way to this place bc we are easily convinced by instagram. We ordered slice of cookie cho colate cake, coconut cupcake and a latte. All these items were my absolute favorite. I cant choose just one. The coconut cupcake was so delicious We ended up getting a coconut cake slice to go. I will say that if youre dining in, you might not taste the best version of cake bc they do keep it refrigerated. These cakes are best when left out for awhile. Itll still be tasty though. I cant wait to try...
